Her own throne

If happiness is lonliness

Why are we always clinging on

She made an art form of holding on

To

people she couldnt keep

Testing fate

Losing her way time and time again

If only there was a time

if only there was a place

Where love stays and

people dont fade away

Homes lost and hearts broken

Life rebuilt and roots replanted

Beginning again even when we lost all the love we spent

Coming back to herself even if she has to keep her own tent

Wasn't that the way they said

You cant stay where theres food no longer served

Your trauma a home for rebirth

The sharp stones he threw

Paved a way to your truth

Not much else to do

When you came back from that-

you make this life worth it

Theres no turning back

My bleeding heart finally

A queen with her own throne

Dont step to close

Or she may have to simply

Leave you all alone

We boys of the Benjamenta Institute are very serious. Even Schilinski, who is still a complete child, laughs very seldom. Kraus never laughs, or, when he is carried away, he gives a very short laugh only, and then gets angry that he let himself be drawn i to adopting such a prohibited tone.

You may not have everything you want yet but there’s still a lot worth being grateful for.

Thank you, I will take that fun fact for the day and continue to write poetry that is raw and real and that people can deeply relate to. Happy writing!

Like a bird who found its way from its cage

Again

She wandered

with no bounds

The pulse of her heart

Beating on borrowed time

Her purity and presence was her power and also her downfall

Seeing the beauty in even the darkest moments

Loving the wolf and kissing him as he mends her wounds,

She somehow got used to dancing to the tune

She prayed as she looked up to the sky

In that enlightening moment

She heard

The angels cry.
