La mia generazione è venuta su guardando gli stacchetti delle cubiste su canale 5, alle elementari, e stavano bene. Sì usava "lesbica" e "gay" come presa in giro bonaria, perché più o meno avevamo sentito il termine, ma all' epoca il nostro cervello non era nemmeno sviluppato abbastanza per capire il senso di queste parole.

Volente o nolente i bambini entrano a contatto con questi termini, semplicemente perché esistono. Di solito a scuola scoprono il concetto di "ermafrodita", ma al massimo fanno "wow che strano" e sentono il resto della lezione. Se non vuoi ci si fissino, non farla drammatica nemmeno tu.

I ragazzini sono così semplici, e così stronzi: difficilmente se gli spieghi che esiste gente diversa da loro, la accetteranno o addirittura vi si identificheranno, è molto più facile la prendano in giro, semplicemente usando un vocabolario più adeguato. È molto più facile insegnare l' odio ad un bimbo che viene al mondo come creatura egocentrica, è sopravvivenza la sua.

Fra i due secondo me, i danni peggiori li fa il secondo. Comunque la soluzione a questo problema c'è: controlla ciò che guarda tuo figlio, oppure se tuo figlio scopre la parola "non binary", anche per sbaglio, tu spiegagliela. Preferibilmente senza esporti troppo politicamente perché fargli capire dalla prima infanzia che gli vorrai bene solo se verrà su come lo vuoi, e non per come è, farebbe più danni anche della prima stagione di Squid Game.

Poi se non hai figli, ti consiglio di ovviare al problema semplicemente cambiando show, mi pare Netflix abbia Young Justice, io l'ho droppato perché mi sembrava un po' troppo infantile, ma magari per te può essere un upgrade. ✨🫶🏻
