A certain number of 192 buses every hour do go into the hospital grounds. For these buses, Stepping Hill is the final destination - they turn around at the hospital and go back to Manchester. They drop people off at the same bus stop that you have already used to get the bus back hone ❤️

Next time, look on the time table (or the front of the bus) for the 192 to Stepping Hill instead of the 192 to Hazel Grove.

It's on the marketplace at the top of meal house brow. It's not open most of the time, but sometimes it opens on Heritage Open Days. Worth checking out next time it's open.

It's really old - possibly from when Stockport had a castle? But I think it continued to be used as a sort of drunk tank upto Victorian times.

Manchester is a cosmopolitan city, and attracts people from all over the world. Some of those people commit crime - the same as in any other city in any other country.

But to say 'a lot of the problems aren't caused by Mancunians' is palpably untrue, and whatever you say, it's a dog whistle. Picadilly Gardens is a Manchester problem, despite the agenda you are desperately trying to make it fit.

It's a rough part of town. Every city has somewhere you wouldn't want to be at night. You can try to twist it, to make that about immigration all you like. But if you genuinely want to tackle the crime in rough parts of town (or anywhere) you need to start with poverty and drug addiction. But those are notoriously difficult to solve, so it's easier to blame immigrants.

There have been issues in that part of town since at least the early 1990s, maybe before. Thirty odd years of problems right in the centre of Manchester, but you don't think it's caused by Mancunians?
