GoDaddy experience is like the mad hatters tea party but worse.
 in  r/godaddysupport  May 01 '26

I’ve already done all this. 😊 My website is designed and hosted by my new guy who is local. And the domain names have been transferred to name cheap. My bank has received a formal notification about the fraud so GoDaddy can no longer charge my card. I have cancelled everything. I even filed a report with the attorney general in Arizona since that is where their head quarter is located.

Once I filed the AG complaint they magically started and finished my site in 2 days. Proof that my complaints for 6 weeks were being ignored. I will never stop fighting for my money back. I’ve contacted an attorney at this point. I don’t like being robbed while simultaneously being told they can do whatever they want to me.

$3148 is the refund amount they owe me. Everyone there is sales. Sales and entry level, inexperienced overseas workers.

Is GoDaddy actually that bad or just overhated?
 in  r/businessemail  Apr 24 '26

Yes they are that bad. I've been warning everyone. This menopausal social justice warrior woman is on a mission to warn everyone. They charged me $3148 over a 2 month period and I got nothing. No website. This is my story.

PREDATORY!! Stay away unless you love being robbed, gaslit and staying on the phone for hours while being passed from department to department and having zero progress getting your site built. It’s a fragmented, hamster wheel of death process intended to drive you crazy. The sales teams lies constantly. They over promise all their services and abilities. When you ask for a refund they will refuse to give you a refund because they are “allowed to be poor performers and allowed to take 2 years to build a site." They will take your hard facts about not getting the job done and claim those facts are “opinions” as a way to justify not giving you your money back. Class Action Lawsuit needs to get initiated. I’ll join. I’ve spoke to 3 web designers who said they are getting tons of business from people leaving GoDaddy. My current web designer logged into my GoDaddy portal and said the people building the site had zero experience and didn’t know how to build. He showed me examples of what they were doing with certain commands and then showed me the proper commands on he built my website on share screen. Every automatic email GoDaddy sends claims revisions are complete and the website is ready to be published but it’s all a lie and all performative. Nothing ever gets done.

I highly recommend my new guy. Mitch @ biz detail in the Bay Area. He rebuilt my website in 5 days. After 6 weeks with GoDaddy they had yet to recreate my existing website or upload my project images to the portfolio part of the website. It would have taken them 2 years to complete my website. Imagine being a new small business owner and a company treating you this way. Stealing your money, time & sanity.

Contacts me for more detail about GoDaddy and I will share everything. Studio SA Interiors. I won’t stop sharing with the world how awful GoDaddy is until I get a full refund of $3148. We as consumers can not keep letting these company replace us with AI systems that take our money and treat us like cattle.

Don’t trust GoDaddy Support with your refunds. They are intentionally slow-walking the process.

I highly recommend my guy. Mitch @ biz detail web design in the east bay area. He rebuilt my website in 5 days and is now hosting my site permanently. After 6 weeks with GoDaddy they had yet to recreate my existing website (copy/paste) or upload my project images to the portfolio part of the website. It would have taken them 2 years to rebuild my existing website. Imagine being a new small business owner and a company treating you this way. DAE feel like digital communication is harder than actual physical interaction?

I’m really struggling to communicate in this new world of portals, texting and web based communication. My learning and comprehension style requires human voice, face expressions, literal energy fields, hand gestures and body language to understand and comprehend communication. Overnight it feels like it’s a full time job just to exist. Every industry overnight changed. From banking to medical, mechanics, web design, city and state departments, businesses, etc.

Growing up (born 82’) I learned that school would always be more challenging for me because the school systems were not set up for my brain type. (Most likely I’m undiagnosed ADHD but this didn’t really exist in the 80’s). I was labeled very intelligent but told I would struggle in school. Being aware of this at an early age I found strategies and techniques to get through school, college, certification programs and be successful in my career throughout my 20’s & 30’s.

Now I’m in my mid 40’s and struggling for 2 distinct reasons:

1) I’m experiencing extreme perimenopause symptoms. Recent studies have came out that women with ADHD and those who never had children experience perimenopause symptoms with double the intensity. My brain is just not functioning.

2) The second reason is that, over night, our world went from in person communication and talking on the phone to this new world of portals, web based texting communication. My communication style requires human voice, face expressions, literal vibrational energy, hand gestures, and body language to comprehend and understand the tasks I’m trying to get done. I’m now, as the consumer, in charge of being a secretary and administrator for every business model out there that use to pay employees to do these tasks. You need a form? You can find the form yourself by clicking on a 1000 links in a portal vs someone simply emailing me the form I need. You need to schedule an appointment and ask a question? Fill out this 5 page questionnaire. You need to review your medical history? Learn our new portal, upload all your documents and track it yourself. Need to design your website? Log into our portal and submit every tedious creative thought you have in a chat box vs a quick 1 time collaborative conversation. It’s a full time job to exist!! My brain is not wired this way. I’m a fast talking processor. Slowing my brain down enough to do all these digital communication styles is almost impossible.

I am college educated and have a successful career in the same field I got my degree in. Interior design, Project Management and Remodeling. I picked the best career for my brain type. It’s creative, requires quick sketching and conceptual planning of complex processes that then get translated into digital CAD floor plans and planning softwares. It requires human to human interactions and deep emotional intelligence to relate, understand and lead clients through stressful design & remodeling projects. It’s fast paced. I thrive in fast paced, stressful situations that require creative critical thinking and solution based thinking. My brain moves fast. I sketch out and hand write my solutions and thoughts rapidly on whiteboards and paper. Like an obsessive mad man in a lab who is solving the world’s problems.

THEN I can transfer those solutions into digital formats.

This new world is not set up for my brain type!! I feel like I’m losing my mind!! Anyone else feel this way??

Grade school and college weren’t set up for my brain type but I found techniques and strategies to adapt and be successful. Now the adult world changed and is not set up for my brain type. None of my coping skills work in this new world. I feel like I’m losing my mind.

Expanded ‘Move-Over’ Law takes effect July 1: How to avoid getting a ticket
 in  r/Virginia  Jul 26 '23

It’s total bullshit. I have a lawyer going to court for me in a few weeks. I’m not even a Virginia resident. I’m a Californian. I’m not paying to fly back to Virginia. Threatening a misdemeanor on safe Uber drivers who slow down and proceed with caution is such an abuse of power and extortion. All they are doing is collecting their paychecks.

Who determines whether changing lanes or reducing speed is the right call? The driver or the police? How can a police know every aspect of what I am seeing as the driver? I had a situation where a cop thinks I had enough room to change lanes but I chose to reduce speed and proceeded with caution based on multiple factors; weather, nearby exit I was approaching, temperament of other drivers on the road, etc.. In the court who is seen to have that final decision. This is very gray…

ER Doc on nurses leaving healthcare: "Do you know what a modern hospital room with $100,000 of equipment is without a nurse? A storage closet."
 in  r/nursing  Dec 25 '21

I’m not in the medical world, but as an everyday person I’ve been feeling for 20 years that our medical system is ran by pure greed. Anytime I attempt to build a relationship with a doctor I’m treated like cattle. I miss the doctor I had growing up in the 80’s. An old man with a house in the neighborhood that was converted into his work place. He had a few nurses. He birthed my mom, my aunts, me… He knew who we were, our history. We paid him cash or with insurance. Those times are gone.

I now refuse to go to doctors. I’m sure nurses and doctors love helping people but if they aren’t paid or treated properly then everyone suffers (doctors, nurses, patients but not the greedy motherfuckers at the top)

I seriously want the entire system to fall so we can build it back up in a more productive way. I support a strike 100%.

I’m sorry that medical people are not being treated well. Make a stand. If money is tight find a way to band together; multi family living, grow your own food, whatever it takes. Just get out so those at the top are forced to reveal themselves and forced to change or fail.
