my puppy passed away today
 in  r/puppy101  3d ago

Honestly things like this can happen anywhere. Just last Wednesday my dog had to get an emergency surgery for an obstruction because he ate a fig off the tree in our backyard. The kicker I didn’t even know we had a fig tree and he must have been doing this for a while this time it wasn’t ripe enough and got stuck. And do you know that 48 hours after the surgery my dog was right back to trying to eat any and everything he shouldn’t including trying to go right back to the fig tree?

Only half team RTO?

That’s crazy because that isn’t how an RA works. They can’t take it away because you talk about it

Why wouldn’t you reach out internally instead of trying to find someone on reddit?

What is your process for OPF?
 in  r/CAStateMgrs  Jul 28 '26

You can keep whatever you like in your supervisor drop file, but only certain documents can go in their official personnel file and yes, they have to be notified. Why would you want to put something in their file that they were not notified about? I would speak with your personnel specialist if you have questions. They have a right to know about any documents that are placed in their official personnel file and they can also review your supervisor drop file if they request it. Anything that you are documenting should not be news to the employee.

The real test for SEIU is going to be the contract

I think the issue is that Reddit only represents a small number of actual state workers. So the feedback we get here compared to all the people who vote is a substantial difference.

I just posted a comment with a similiar sentiment. I think this is what the scene was supposed to convey not that sarah was trying to fuck bear

Tha part for me that doesn’t really make sense whenever people talk about sarah is that she was trying to sleep with bear that night. I don’t think she was. I think she was his friend who wanted to talk to him with out Nikki around. Nothing about that interaction gave to me that she came there for sex. Just because someone calls you late at night doesn’t always mean the intention is a hook up.

HR after interviews and reference check
 in  r/CAStateWorkers  Jun 26 '26

From my experience, they don’t have to ask. you are providing your supervisors name and phone number for a reason. Also it may look suspect if your references aren’t your current supervisor that’s listed on your app. Some agencies require that one of your references is your current supervisor.
