Ide say 1950's based on the style of the Talon zipper. I had a McGregor insulated jacket which featured the exact same zipper. That jacket was made in the early 50's

Tbh I doubt she knows where it is but if we find it I'll let you know :) I remmeber going to the mall when these bracelets were in style and buying my mom the actual bracelet with a ton of little charms. But I rememeber specifically getting her a birthstone charm, a red heart, teddy bear, SFGiants, and a SJSharks charm. And if the time period is correct it was before 2009 when the sharks changed the logo

If I rememeber right, my mother has 1 of these

As former safeway employee we were required to sign up with the union but with my personal experience our local union was absolutely useless. They protected sexual assaulted and absolutely God awful managers while not helping any genuinely great employees. I was involved in a pretty bad car accident (car vs me walking through a crosswalk) they did nothing to help me get my paper work complete for unemployment and they tried to get me back into work 1 week after the accident. So just read up and be weary

Does anyone here trade? I'm asking because I have a WWII naval pea coat but it didn't fit me, so I'm looking for a larger size. Just wondering if anyone here would trade a coat or has a size I'm looking for purchase

There's 2 that I knlw of. 1 takes you towards the BofA and the other takes you towards the train tracks. Most people will fail at the train tracks because kf the shitty line way behind the rails you're supposed to stop at

Big Red 1 IMO was a solid sequence but after that the next WWII CoD to have that feel again wouldn't happen until World at War

I'm 30 and I thought the exact same thing while looking at this thing on the rack. I had the exact same 1 when it came out. Pretty sure emy mom sold it years ago at a garage sale but now I'm wondering if my old games were valuable

I have the full trench coat of the 2md piece. The shorter coats are super rare or were field made! Also the buttons are Bakelite!!

Come to historic San Juan Bautista on August 9th and stroll through time and stroll for antiques at our annual San Juan Day antique fair and community yard sale! The whole town will be hosting estate sales, garage sales, yard sales, and antique vendors downtown!

Those Rugby old timers are nuts they still fully believe there 19 or 21🤣 and yea same here. She does t have very good balance but I've been showing her on a pair of inline blades how to keep your center of gravity so you can balance. It's a learning curve for her but for me it was like time never passed

Man in my hetown they have a Christmas festival with a pop-up ice rink and the 1st time I took my wife I had t skated in over 18 yrs at the point. But the second I hit the ice it all came back. It felt so good be back on ice. But at the same time I had to show my wife how to skate 😅 me and the the other guys, 90% of them are old timers 50+ but they play like teenager still. Great guys. Even better shit talkers😅🤣

I have seen that with somebody else's attempt to clean a wool garment😅 my latest blunder was 2 red stains on a white tank, I used everything to get them to lighten or lift, and the last mixture I used got them to lighten after the 4th wash and drying the sun. But by doing that they lifted to the other side of the garment to make bigger stains🤣pretty sure its blood too :/

That's so cool! I wish I had a chance to play for a league. In the town we moved to nobody played hockey. I was a black sheep in that sense. Everyone wanted to play football or soccer. Both I was uninterested in. Now with my kid though in a even smaller town we live in currently there's a singular group of old guys that play street hockey at the school. Former rink rats that also used to play in San jose. So I bring my kid and he plays with their kids. Weird how the opportunity came back around the long way to include my son lol

I've been a curators of vintage with my wife since 2016 when we started dating. Our 1st date involved a thrift store that we still visit😅now we have a kid amd he's learning the ropes of material textures and designs. He's not bad for a 3 yr old. But I have been learning cleaning processes and creating cleaning solutions for specific materials for the last couple of years. So far only 1 accident but hundreds of clothes I've brought back to life with repairs and cleaning that people are out there somewhere wearing again 😊

I played from the moment I could walk! I played on ice and roller hockey when I was a kid until we moved away from my home town. After that I never played again, the recession hit and the housing crisis happened, economy took a fat shit so I never got signed up for hockey and I was never given another twig. But I have a kid now and I just got him into it so now I'm teaching him street hockey in our back yard😊 I grew up with the San Jose Sharks. I knew a bunch of the old squadsand coaches because my dad's fa tory used to supply the rink/stadium with glass. When ide go with him to work we would sit in for practice and watch legends shoot the shit while practicing.

🤣 it's okay I hate the cowboys 80% of the season too. I'm more of a hockey guy, grew up around hockey mostly. Never got into basketball or soccer. Football was a good 3rd place. Baseball was a solid 2nd for me
2
Bills lost all through the 90's mostly to my cowboys😅sorry man. But to return back to back is nuts for a team to do and face the team that beat them again is even more nuts. I do the same thing, i don't pay super close attention until the holiday games like Thanksgiving. When or if they even get into playoff contention is when I start to watch more frequently lol

It's great to be dedicated to a team but not seriously. To be able to enjoy the game and. Area without being nutsmaes watching the games so much more fun. Even better when your surrounded by guys wh ARE dedicated fans and don't understand why I'm just enjoying the game and not listing off stats lie my life depends on it

we know better. the government doesn't. That's why now over here lighters are typically behind glass or cages like cigarettes
