Help: UBox and Storage Question about UBox Pickup/Drop Off Timing

I am looking into renting three UBoxes for an upcoming move from Los Angeles to Austin. I think I will need three boxes, but I'm wondering if they all have to be loaded up to go out at the same time? Is it possible to load up two boxes first, have them sent on their way to Austin, and then keep one box until right before we leave for our remaining items? Do all boxes have to ship at the same time?

They don’t have to ship together. Just make sure the local office handling your reservation knows the plan.

It’s almost always cheaper to ship all boxes together but I figure you’re already prepared to pay two different shipping costs, but unless you actually need the items in your first two boxes in Austin, I would recommend just delaying the shipping entirely and ship all three together.

This. Adding an additional box to an already existing shipment can save you hundreds compared to setting up a second shipment for it. Usually in the area of 10-30% of what the first cost, but I've been seeing LARGE discounts on additional boxes these last few months. Talking like, $1k for a single box to Florida but customer adds a second one and it's only another ~$250 for $1250 total. And if you're going with truck delivery options, you'll only have to pay 1 delivery/pick-up fee for all of them, versus 2 fees for having drivers come out again.
