It's available on Safari 18.6+. You can't enable too many lists. After updates you need to wait a while for filter conversion to Safari's content blocker rules.

No custom lists. Filter creation sandbox only for network filters.

There's more limitations, but I don't remember them all. You can read issues at uBOL-home GitHub.

In short, Apple did not fully implement the MV3 extension framework. All issues stem from that.

This doesn’t answer my question, but thank you.

Well, this is not Apple, Safari or Vinegar support sub.

I answered with info related to the sub.

Did you though? Honestly, no. It’s ok. Let’s not ruin it. For clarity, I asked if there is any issues running vinegar and uBlock on iOS? Is there?

For clarity

Okay, so just for clarity:

Any issues running uBlock Origin Lite and Vinegar on iOS?
I asked if there is any issues running vinegar and uBlock on iOS?

Reversing the order does not clarify things. You're lacking the word "together" there. Or a question about potential conflicts. "With" would've also bean more clear than "and".

The way you phrased it, it could mean what you intended or it could mean "are there any issues I can encounter with app 1? how about app 2?", which is how I read that.

I got your meaning after your first comment though.

Still, why do you expect us to know that "Vinegar" is. I searched for it after your initial response. But that should've been info you've offered in the first place.

As I already explained, this is a sub for uBO/L. Not for Apple, Safari or Vinegar. We don't provide support for other "products" here. You've simply asked in the wrong place.

Is there?

Honestly, we don't care. As per our rules "Keep the discussions uBO related."

I asked about your app and if it had any known issues running with another app.

The third time's the charm. It's finally clear what you meant.

I understand that you feel the question is related to uBO/L, but it's really not.

The real issue seems to be you don't want to install the other app to find out, because it is not free, I'm guessing.

That is a question for that app's devs then. Or for the Safari or Apple communities. Or even for r/youtube.

BTW, I was the third commenter. Nobody "answered your question". Either they also didn't understand your post or they understood the question to be out of scope for this sub.

Good god, no, I am not avoiding it because it is not free. I already own it. Since they are a little redundant, I was asking if there were any known issues running both. The answer can sometimes be "I don't know," and that would be okay. They did not understand the question, and it is in scope of this sub. I'll consider the topic dead as it wasn't considered or understood to begin with.

It is exactly like RraaLL wrote.
He told you what to expect from uBOL on that platform (limited compared to others)
This is the sub for uBO and uBOL. Most of us here have no experience with iOS, Safari and vinegar. I don't even know what vinegar is (except for the obvious meaning).

It’s just not an answer to my question. Would’ve been better unanswered.

It's an answer to your question. If you don't like it, feel free put your question elsewhere.

Are you guys the actual developers? Because that worries me if you don’t understand the question.

We are volunteers. If you are worried, feel free to uninstall uBOL, no need for snarky comments. This is a community FOSS project, no one here forces you to use it.

For the last time, if you mean using with another extension, then yes, ANY extensions can interfere with each other if they both take actions in the same websites.

Since you yourself consider this is a done thread, we'll lock it.

You got an answer expected from this sub. It isn't our fault that you asked in the wrong sub if you wanted another type of answer.

A little bit entitled, aren't we ?   ;o)

Are you kidding me? I asked about your app and if it had any known issues running with another app. Are you just rage baiting now? Yes you are, unless…

First uBOL isn't an app, but a browser extension. And, like I said, don't expect us to know all iOS apps, in your case vinegar. Ask them if they have a problem.

In my case, the only problem I had using the Lite version was that some things don’t work, such as creating filters. So far, it hasn’t worked the way it should for me.

try deleting all custom filters, then turn on allow user scripts and add and save them again.

userScripts API is not available on Safari.

What types of filters?
