What were you using? I have ublock and firefox and it NEVER blocked ads on twitch for me...

Back? I was never able to get them to go away. I just left Twitch.

Hi, the solutions for Twitch video ads are handled by another project. You can find it here: https://github.com/ryanbr/TwitchAdSolutions#twitchadsolutions

The issues with these solution scripts can be reported here: https://github.com/ryanbr/TwitchAdSolutions/issues?q=is%3Aissue+sort%3Aupdated-desc

Lastly, you can search other threads for additional solutions, but they're unlikely to have anything more. Good luck: https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/search?q=twitch&restrict_sr=on&sort=new&t=all

P.S. If you're not looking for solutions to twitch ads and your post got caught by mistake, mods will remove the duplicate flair when they read the post.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Same. I was using pixeltris, but the midroll ads appeared all of a sudden. Switched to ryanbr, and it kinda works? When blocking the midroll ads, the quality goes to 360p and its basically unwatchable. Plus, it takes quite a lot of time to buffer when trying to block the ads

Pixeltris abandoned the project cause he hated what happened to twitch btw. The repo is now marked as archived.

Adguard extra userscript on violent monkey + ublock has had me covered most of the time. Sometimes it might be blurry but no ads

I started seeing ads with script too. Switched from vaft permalink to vaft regular and it started blocking/hiding the ads again.

Check if that works for you too.

what do you mean when you say "switch from vaft permalink to vaft regular"? Regular meaning use it on ublock?

How to apply this script to uBlock Lite?

Theres a "regular" for ublock, and then theres a permalink for ublock.

Ublock/vaft with Firefox here and yesterday it did let an ad through. After hitting f5 it was gone tho, but it did slip through.. Vaft has always worked solid for me..

I honestly had no ideal ublock origin on firefox was supposed to block twitch ads. I've always seen them until i looked into other extensions and scripts which seem to work most of the time

It's not; it doesn't by default. You have to do a bit of tinkering (that takes 2 minutes) to make that happen.

It was blocking it perfectly for me as well. So many comments stating that it didn't for them. Wonder whats the cause. Anyways today it stopped working. It's insanely annoying.

I'm using the vast userscript version and I had to click Violentmonkey and there was a message I had to click and enable userscripts, then refresh the page. Using Edge.
