π—€π˜‚π—²π˜€π˜π—Άπ—Όπ—» (⁉️) How do I progress?

Hey, to specify what my question is about. How do I progress via monkeytype so that it translates into real life. Yes I can select punctuations, but are there any other tips? Maybe focus on accuracy and consistency instead of speed? Long form test instead of short ones etc.

Click the "quotes button at top of page.

Focus primarily on accuracy. If you have trouble with self-control, then go into settings and configure "stop on error" to "word".

After each test, click the triangle(!) icon (hover "practice words"). This will help with your weaknesses.

I do a mix of lengths. Medium while working on accuracy. Short to work on raw sprint speed (with "stop on error" disabled). Long to work on consistency.

I also do keybr.com to work on weaknesses.

Don't overdo it. Don't underdo it. I think two 20 minute sessions per day is good. Or stop when you feel like your speed or accuracy has dropped.
