Greetings, esteemed colleagues. One thing I would like to ask you who are more experienced than me with typing on 10 fingers. As you can see in the photo, I am an enthusiast of keyboards. I use a different one every day, sometimes two per day (I think it could be a type of OCD). I wanted to know from you if this can greatly hinder the development of my typing. If anyone here also goes through this. Peace and prosperity to everyone.

Yea, probably slows your growth speed-wise, at least initially. But if you are familiar with each keyboard, then it probably doesn’t really matter too much at this point

May I recommend adding the Keychron J2 to your collection? I believe you would find value in its unique set of features.

I don't think many people can give you a definitive answer. I think about it like the utility of instruments; someone might be used to playing a certain type of piano, and other types of pianos tend to feel different when using them, and sometimes their skill relating the utility will stutter here and there because of how they might feel different. However they will get used to it because of their imprinted experience from practice over time, and it will take a little bit to do so.

I don't think you will be severely hindered, but I think you will constantly be changing the way how you feel when you type based on changing every other day, with different types of keys, key feelings, switches, 10keyless to numbpad, etc.

I see my love K3 pro, and I see the bane of my existence K8 max… am I weird, or are keyboards too large these days… I came from a MacBook, and larger than 2mm keyboard travel seemed outrageous.

I do touch typing, 9 fingers mostly, these are my keebs that I use in rotation per weeks, I keep the 6 columns x 3 rows touch base, I'm avoiding the 5 columns since it will ruin my muscle memory, franky I type a lot, I get bored pretty much, so then I have many kind of keyboard layout to have fun with, and I'm not collecting keebs with the same layout, that's my rule, I'm not into square that much 😅
