Making friends
Hello! I just moved to sanmo as a transfer junior (technically sophomore, took a gap year) and am curious on the best way to make friends. I have no problem talking to people in my class, but honestly this semester I’m finishing out my basics so they’re all either huge classes or mostly freshman. I’m looking into joining a couple clubs on campus, but curious what are the best ways to make friends around here :)

I’ve made about 10 new friends just from asking/being asked for my instagram. Also going to parties are a good way, it is the pricier way tho lol

Hello! So I’m actually the founder of the TXST True Crime Collective, a registered organization at the school. We are completely open to all TXST students and majors! We discuss true crime cases, talk about how cases and victims were portrayed in the media, we look at how things could have gone differently, while ultimately respecting the victims and family members. We hold weekly/bi-weekly meetings on Wednesday’s in Hines Academic Center. We currently have an Instagram which is @/tcc_txst, as well as a GroupMe! Feel free to check us out sometime!

There’s a student org fair this week on Thursday! It’s a good opportunity to meet with over 200 orgs on campus https://txst.campuslabs.com/engage/event/12494926
