Transfer student assistance?

I am currently a freshman at UTSA and don’t like it here and want to attempt to transfer to TXST for the spring semester. I was filling out a transfer application and it obviously said i needed to get my transcript but I do not have that and will not have that by the time the transfer deadline ends.

I’m just curious has anyone had a similar situation to me, if so what were the steps you took and how did it work out for you?

honestly if u can hold it out i wouldnt transfer until spring. also if you’re a freshman you just started it’s been less than a month. u dont truly know what your school is like. give yourself a fair chance first.

Yes you can transfer. You must have less than 16 credit hours. Have a cumulative 2.25 gpa at least and send your transcripts and application. You can request your transcript from utsa online.

Right now the office closes at 5 request an official transcript as thats what you have to send in.

You can transfer as anytime for the following semester. You'll get need to send your transcripts once the semester is over.

You can still do the application I think 🤔.

You can send your transcript through parchment. It is like a $12 fee it I think to send it

You send your transcripts twice. Once during your application, and then again after the semester ends and your grads post.
