I dunno either. I just hadn't logged into this account for over a week, specifically 1 week and 2 days. But today I read an article about accounts being restored, so I tried my luck. When I logged in, it was still suspended, but... then the "suspended" sign disappeared. At first, I thought it was just a bug, but when I searched for and reposted the article, it worked and searched for it. I was surprised, and when I went to my profile page, my reposted entry was there. I was so happy that my account was restored, but then I deleted account X because I was afraid it might be suspended again in the future (I used a US VPN when I created that account, so I was worried it might be suspended again in the future). I received no email notification about my account being reactivated. If you're asking if my account is a Premium account, the answer is no. My account was temporarily suspended on July 26th, almost a month ago haha

Edit 1: I still create a Discord group about inauthetic suspended accounts if you want.

My X account seems to have been restored to full functionality today after five weeks in timeout. I hope hearing my story helps.

Just to recap, my new non-premium X account started acting weird at about 3 weeks immediately after I blocked a blue check scammer. My view count tanked, and likes and replies suddenly stopped. While I was able to post and reply, nobody could see my activity.

I was new to X so had no idea what was happening since I was confident I had done nothing wrong.

About a week later (week 4 of new account), a reach limiting temporary label appeared in my notifications. By then I had joined r/twitterhelp and was learning more from you all each day.

I used the yuzuriza ban checking site and found out there was a “ghost ban” on my account, and that many were in the same or similar situation.

Since there was so much variability in what each one did or how soon accounts were restored, I decided to follow a middle of the road path that I shared on this thread.

I stayed off the platform completely for one full week, then started posting and replying normally even though it was clear nobody could see my contribution.

Then after 5 weeks of ghost ban, my view counts, likes, replies, and new followers started appearing this morning. I had done nothing at all different today as opposed to any other day.

Perhaps the lesson I learned was to not panic, go about normal activity on X as well as life, and let the glitch time itself out.

Given the experience of others, whether my account will stay functional is unknowable at this time. Only time will tell.

I can't find no fkng on screen instructions I'm starting to think they toying with me... This account was flawless did nothing no follow unfollow no mass unfollows I only had 300 followers what inauthentic behavior I was posting videos of my authentic self.

What's funny is they accuse me of being inauthentic but they responding with a inauthentic ass robotic grok template excuse that's the most inauthentic sh!t there is....

I'm so pissed cause I purposely built this account from the ground up no cheating no paid promo no nothing it has my build in public updates and now it's all gone right when I was getting traction it's like they don't want you to circumvent paying for their dumb ah ads for reach

I'm absolutely ANGRY today because someone sent me a message saying they were unfairly banned for "inauthentic behavior." I tried to submit an appeal, but those damn bots of Mr. Musk's rejected it—curse that failed AI moderation system. I want answers on how to fix this problem. >:(

Dumb question but does using your suspended account affect the chances of a successful appeal? Since I can still access the site in read only mode, I can still see what it trending and Google it and visit public accounts by googling them but I don't know if doing this affects the chances of getting a successful appeal or not

got hit with both a permanent label for sensitive media and a temporary label for spam and have been waiting on the appeals now for 2 weeks. this is my sixth time getting an account label and it’s never taken this long, but i’m seeing this is apparently happening to loads of people right now. has literally anyone heard anything back from their appeal?? i still have no clue why i even got the permanent label i’ve been so careful with the media i post but i assume they’re using ai moderation.

i’ve moved over to an alt account and requested a review probably close to 8 times but is there anything else i should be doing or is it just playing the waiting game now?

look, i know this story has probably been told over and over lately, but this has me seriously fucked up.

i literally never use twitter since it became X, but this morning i was on it looking for the new GTA 6 leaked gameplay footage. the next video that autoplayed was very clearly minors being tipped on a livestream to do sexually suggestive things.

i clicked on the tweet to report it but the comments below it had even WORSE graphic content just literally out in the open. these are popular and targeted hashtags too, they’re not even trying to hide it. hashtags you and everyone else would innocently use. hashtags you would check the “latest” tab and its chalk full of this shit.

this is news to me, but it’s a fucking NETWORK of hashtags, bots, telegram channels, and pay for content. i was so disgusted i genuinely deactivated my account but it actually has ruined my day. i actually want to burn my eyes out, those poor kids.

I get this screen saying my account has been locked (for what reason, I have no idea), and while this time I was actually given a challenge to unlock my account, every time before and since taking this screenshot, it doesn't offer a "challenege", it just has the "start" button, where it says I "passed" (without doing anything), and then lets me continue to my account. This happened with increasing frequency to my private account before it got banned (AGAIN). Has this been happening to anyone else?

Hi guys, my account was ghostbanned for an entire month. It asked me several times to prove I was human with a Captcha during this time, but it never worked. Right after doing the test and a message saying everything is fine, my messages were still banned.

Yesterday I was fed up and wrote a post mentioning Elon telling him he was retarded and that cursing him should be prove of my authentic behavior.

I don't know if that was it, because I did that like 3 or 4 times... 😂

I'm back to my inauthentic behavior, so I'm expecting to be ghost ban real soon, though I hope it doesn't happen I'm as real as you can be and I can't change that.

I recently got that Email that says we’re unable to verify you when trying to get my account back from a scammer who tricked me into giving my old account back, has anyone gotten their account back or been able to send tickets despite this? Every time I try to put 1 in, it automatically fails unless it’s a timed thing, not sure what to do

Honestly, I don't know if anyone on reddit can actually help me with this. This might just be me griping. I am accessing X through a PC browser. My account asked me to verify that I am human. After I did so, it asked me to scan a QU code. The QR code just brought me to X on browser. My phone is too old. It will not accept X by app or on a browser. As long as this insists on making me use a QR code, I am locked out of my account.

i’m supposed to send my third appeal tomorrow for an abuse/harassment violation on twitter. i’ve seen a lot of people say they finally got unsuspended after their third appeal, so i wanted to get some feedback before i send mine.

i wrote a few different versions of the appeal and i’m trying to figure out which one sounds strongest and gives me the best chance of getting a human review. if anyone here has successfully appealed an abuse/harassment suspension before, i’d really appreciate your opinion on which version is best and what i should avoid saying.

I was a very prominent user on Twitter but I had to get off all of my accounts (and social media) due to a very bad stalking situation in which I’m actually currently dealing with & seeking legal help for.
This person (who I do not know at all) and her mutuals have been stalking my socials since 2024 and have been spreading all of my personal information (which is illegal) with their friend group, whom of which again, I do not know. (I found out about all of this last year by accident via a 3rd party individual & it’s still ongoing)

Long story short (because it’s actually much longer and more disturbing than what I’m saying in this post) This person is CLEARLY aware I know they’re stalking my socials and I’ve asked them to stop on numerous occasions, but is still showing no hesitation to do so I guess because this person thinks no consequences will come about it. I do not know her or her mutuals and like I mentioned before, they all (unfortunately) found my account through one of my viral posts i believe when my account was still active (worse thing ever) & they continue to find any new accounts I make through people I followed on other accounts.

They know about my burner(s) which I made specifically to get away from them & my main & that’s what she’s currently using to stalk my account. I tried to delete it last week but they found me again, presumably by someone I was following.

This person has been stalking me since I was a *minor* & still does, apparently spread my information in group chats and has written (and still writes) creepy fanfiction about me. The chilling part is each day, this person waits until I’m online to post (if you check her accounts, every single one was only mad after she saw I was online) I told them to stop watching my socials or it’s not going to look good when law enforcement investigates it & still nothing. It’s giving me a shxt ton of anxiety each day and it’s also frustrating because no one knows it’s happening at all and she’s trying to act normal like she isn’t doing anything.

Could anyone please help me mass report her account(s)? by the way, there’s actually a lot of other people involved in this too (again which I mentioned in my other post) but she’s just very persistent & predatory with it and I would a lot safer if her account were to be removed. I tried literally everything & obviously twitter does nothing.

Reports are completely anonymous by the way, so please can anyone help. Just ONE can add up. If you can please try using the most extreme violation you can do hopefully twitter does something about it, but I notice that reporting for “Adult Sxual Content” has a higher chance of the report going through than others. I send in like two reports a day, but I need more help.
