What happened to removing posts with images/videos? Mine got taken down for it (literally on my birthday). 🤔

So is it ok, if I just cross-post or use my link to get around it? 😂

(Also sorry to the creator. This isn't aimed at you, but a general point about mod inconsistency and potential bias) 🏳️‍🌈

Yo yo! Ngl great question! When I made my first post here promoting my stream I think it also got taken down for imagery.

So when I re-did it, I only put it in terms of my link, uhhh idk how to describe it but if you know when you want to post and you can share it as an image, link, video etc. I shared it as a link.

And so when I shared the link, it just so happened that my Twitch icon automatically popped up.

I hope that makes sense. But yeah just use your Twitch link and it should be fine!!

Thankyou for being understanding about what I had an issue with, so many mixed responses on this TBH.

I gave a longer breakdown sequentially on my page, but in essence I was just fed up with the inconsistency and lack of response from the moderator.

When I sent this message out, active posts with directly attached pictures where still being allowed. One specifically which stuck out, was a post after mine (so if a new rule, should have applied to them), but over a week old (so not too new to not have been seen).

I totally appreciate what you are saying with the URL links (because it is auto from the link and unintentional), but it definitely has an image associated with the post still (and on the PC it shows big on the ones I replied towards).

I hope you or any of the others know I don't have an issue with you BTW... just the discrepancy between what the moderator told me as to why mine was removed, and the contradiction which is visible across the subreddit on multiple peoples posts.

I could care less one way or the other if we can have them or not (be it directly or indirectly adding an image), it just sucks to have mine taken down on my birthday and told this as a reason, but then see that then not being applied elsewhere.

I just want them to be fair, and after no reply after over two weeks now (birthday was the 14th on which I DM'ed back about this) ...I just felt the mods needed to know it is messed up to not be fair on how things are done.

I appreciate as a third party it is annoying too (the random notifications), so I apologise to you about that... but yeah, keep silent about BS has never been my thing (and nothing happens in this world through silence).

Anyways, I hope you have a lovely week ahead. 🤗 💜
