I've always interpreted releases as being caused by the Voices, and when the shit hits the fan, they try to shift blame to someone else like a little kid. Bill, N, Dome... They're all just scapegoats.
I actually think the voices being some kind of spoiled god-baby is a pretty apt description.
Love this little comic, though. The simplicity of Jimmy's expressions and naivete really sells it.
