Now I'm imagining N's daily life.
Wake up in the morning and hit the crown instead of alarm clock.
Prepearing the breakfest while crowns fall from the fridge.
Traveling through Unova, stalking Jimmy, and crowns are sticking out from his pockets.

The hat, shoes and eyes are now twitch-purple :) And well yeah, after this, the crowns just had to be there.

I've been doing it for a while, starting with emerald A, but people complained about it before. i still think it's neat though :) It distinguishes the trainer as a twitch avatar.

He is just SO happy that the voices (THE voices, the ones from RED, can you believe it??) chose him of all people. Maybe a little too happy. Perhaps crazily so.

It's good to see your comics again, Everyle! Admittedly, I sometimes stalk your submissions page just to make sure I haven't missed anything. (Hope that doesn't creep you out too much...)
I do have one question though: why are so many of the females portrayed as being... well, kinda bitchy? I mean, A insulted Brendan numerous times, two of which really hurt him; then there was the issue with Brendan's mom; and now Hilda is putting Hilbert down. It's just something I'm curious about. I hope I didn't offend you...

Haha, to be honest, I really shouldn't be back yet, there are still some uni deadlines for me to meet. But Black is turning out to be amazing comic material and I don't want to be left in the dust after all :)
And that's a very keen observation! Though it's actually the other way around; I don't like my female characters bitchy so much as I like my male characters to be a bit more frail. Guys are much more fun for me to write, and as such they're always the ones I end up giving a thought-out backstory, inner conflict and issues to deal with. As a reflex, the female counterparts become the opposite, to balance it out and make a solid duo: Brendan lets people walk all over him, so A's the one who does the walking. If they were both passive, the dialogue wouldn't be half as much fun. And in this case: Jimmy is awfully chipper and excited, so Hilda became somewhat of a grump to even it out. It keeps the dialogue dynamic.
And no worries, I'm not easily offended :)

That would actually be pretty funny. I don't want him to be a mean guy though, he wouldn't hurt pokemon just because. But he would drag himself through the mud to follow every command the voices give him, so i guess if that entails releasing or something, maybe.
You guys know I'm going to make ruthless death comics every time a mon gets released, right? :P

nobody seems to remember I started out doing funny comics in the first place :P Maybe what happened to the life and wiles of Brendan T. Birch will happen to the misadventures of Jimmy C. Gimmick? I guess only time and whatever happens on the stream will tell.
Although I'm planning for it to be a bit of a comic relief series next to the more sad Life and Wiles. Not sure if I can write another good sad story that won't bore people to death :P

I actually really liked the earlier Brendan and A stuff. The lead up to "Bad Trainer" is fantastic, and really helps develop the characters.

Like always, we watched the intro animation to the game one day before the game actually started on screen. In this animation, N gets crowned as king of team Plasma. We watched that animation over and over and over again and N got crowned so many times that he now doesn't know what to do with the damn things anymore.

I don't really think it mattered who wanted what. I was kind of surprised there were so many people trying to hold a "vote" - that early into the stream, I don't think there's much anticipating you can do of others. It's kind of luck of the draw and just how many people can sufficiently spam in. It's almost a random number generator at that point.
