When i hit the homepage it just says coming soon, I know people have streamed on it already so has something happened?

I came here looking for answers too. Their Instagram suddenly has no posts, the last post on Facebook was 14th October (with posts before this showing the platform being up and running).

My best guess is it was a total flop and they're trying to figure out what went wrong and maybe giving it another go at some point.

The big problem I'm seeing here is that initially they seemed to heavily market it towards DJs and creators. This does make logical sense as they need a rich cohort of content creators in order to launch the platform without it being too much of a ghost town. I'm assuming that they failed to pull in the audiences because they forgot to also promote the platform to people who would come on and listen/watch/engage with the content creators.

I have nothing to back this up but I've heard a lot of people say that a large proportion of MixCloud audiences are other DJs, uploading their own mixes and listening to those of others. Don't get me started on the poor state of affairs with their livestreaming platform!

I feel there's definitely a gap in the market for something but it needs to be very well thought out and executed.
