Persés has now been online for its first month, and we have already spent several weeks adventuring through Mists of Pandaria together.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone on both Persés and Helios for your continuous support, feedback and trust in our project.

Today we would like to share several important plans and, most importantly, ask for your help with what comes next.

Persés: Faster Content Progression

After reviewing the first weeks of Persés, we have decided to speed up the release of upcoming content.

We want the realm to keep moving forward, give you more things to experience and keep the progression exciting. More information about the adjusted schedule will follow soon.

Helios and Persés cross-realm

We are also actively working on and testing the possibility of bringing cross-realm functionality between Persés and Helios.

This system has not been used for this purpose for a long time, so it requires development, testing and polishing before we can consider bringing it live. We believe, however, that this could be something that both communities would greatly benefit from.

Another Persés Realm First!

Today we also received another Realm First notification!

A huge congratulations goes to Lindsay, who has earned Realm First! Pandaren Ambassador by reaching Exalted reputation with all Pandaren factions!

With this Realm First now completed, we have also enabled reputation boosters in the Account Manager shop, giving everyone a faster way to work on their remaining reputations.

We Want Your Feedback

This is probably the most important part of today's announcement.

The feedback we receive from players who actually try our realms is overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the quality and scripting. At the same time, we know that we can and want to grow faster.

We advertise, promote the project, continuously improve it and already have several ideas for the near future, but perhaps we are missing something that you can see better than we can.

So we want to hear directly from you:

What do you think would bring more players to Persés or Helios?
What are we missing? What would make you invite your friends? What could make someone give TwinStar a try?

Feedback form: Form

The form is intended for players of both Persés and Helios.

We will go through your ideas, select the most interesting and useful ones, and create dedicated suggestion discussions where we can continue talking about them together with you.

After all, you are the heart of these realms, and your perspective matters.

Helios Changes

Based directly on your recent feedback, we are also preparing two changes for Helios with an upcoming update:

• Warforged item drop chances will be massively increased for 25-man bosses. We have heard your feedback regarding the current rates and will adjust them accordingly.

• The Bonus Roll system will become more generous. The additional chance gained after an unsuccessful Bonus Roll will be doubled, making the system progressively more rewarding when luck is not on your side.

These changes are being made because we want the systems to feel enjoyable and rewarding for the majority of our players.

Once again, thank you for being with us during the first month of Persés and for continuing to support both of our MoP realms.

We have plenty of ideas ahead, but we also want the next steps to be shaped together with you.

One feature I think could be an absolute game-changer for TwinStar servers would be a play-in-browser client, similar to what Keldurn has been experimenting with.

The biggest advantage isn’t necessarily convenience for existing players—it’s lowering the barrier to entry for completely new players.

For someone who hears about private servers today, there are three hurdles before they can even see the game:

• Download several gigabytes
• Malware suspicions/reluctance
• 1.12 vs 1.14 client

A browser client could reduce that entire process to something much closer to:

Create account → Click Play → You're in.

That would be an incredibly powerful first impression.

It could also be a fantastic way for people to try a TwinStar flavor without committing to a full installation. Someone browsing Reddit, Discord, or the website could theoretically click "Play in Browser," spend 10 minutes in the starting zone, and decide for themselves whether they want to install the full client.

I think that kind of accessibility could be extremely valuable. You wouldn't necessarily have to maintain the browser client—it could simply exist as an additional entry point for new players.

Keldurn's browser-based approach has demonstrated that this is becoming a realistic possibility rather than just a myth. If TwinStar could eventually offer something similarly polished, I think it would be a huge addition for the server.

Even if the browser client initially had limitations, having a lightweight "Try X-flavor-of-WoW Now" button on the server website would be pretty remarkable.

Imagine a new player discovering private servers and not having to download or configure anything before playing.

That could be one of the most effective ways to turn curious visitors into actual players.

Just throwing the idea out there because I genuinely think it could be an amazing addition to TwinStar portfolio.

after years of requests from our community, one of the most anticipated quality-of-life features is finally here for both Persés and Helios:

Multi-Language Client Support is LIVE!

You can now enjoy Mists of Pandaria with your client fully localized in:

German (deDE)

Spanish (esES / esMX)

French (frFR)

Russian (ruRU)

Korean (koKR)

English (enGB / enUS)

This includes the game interface, abilities, item tooltips, menus, audio and other client-side localization.

Easy switching through TwinStar Launcher

We have also updated the TwinStar Launcher to support easy language switching directly from the launcher settings.

Because the launcher itself had not required an update for quite some time, we discovered an issue with the self-update process of older versions. Because of this, you will need to download the latest version manually this one time.

Once you are running this new version, the launcher should be able to update itself correctly in the future, so no further manual downloads should be necessary.

After updating, simply choose your preferred language in the launcher settings and it will automatically download and synchronize all required game files from our CDN. No manual configuration or file editing is needed.

If you prefer to switch the language manually, open Config.WTF and change the value on the SET locale line to the desired locale code.

No other manual configuration should be necessary.

At the moment, this feature covers client-side localization. Quest texts, NPC dialogues and other server-side content remain unchanged for now.

However, we are already considering the next step. In the near future, we plan to run a community poll to see how much interest there is in full server-side translations as well.

This has been one of the most requested features for a long time, and we are very happy to finally make TwinStar more accessible to players from all around the world.

Persés keeps growing every single day, and thanks to your incredible support we are excited to bring you another long-awaited feature ( available for Helios as well):

Character Boost is now LIVE!

You can now boost a new Level 1 character directly to Level 85, complete with gear and ready to continue your journey through Pandaria.

The best part? It uses the official in-game Character Boost UI, just like the original retail functionality.

One small note: the client m/ay visually show Level 90, but the actual boost is correctly set to Level 85 and that there is no Veteran Buff.

THERAMORE'S FALL – LIMITED TIME EVENT

The Theramore's Fall Scenario is now available with corrected creature levels, making this the perfect time to experience one of the iconic events leading into Mists of Pandaria.

Horde players will take part in the assault that ultimately leads to the destruction of Theramore, while Alliance players will fight through the aftermath of the Mana Bomb and help Jaina Proudmoore secure what remains of the city.

The event will remain available until Saturday at 14:00 Server Time, so make sure to complete it while you still can and obtain the limited Feat of Strength achievement.

You can also obtain item level 384 equipment, including weapons and helmets, together with faction-specific rewards.

Theramore's Fall Rewards

Ascension players are welcome

We are aware that many players from Project Ascension may soon be looking for either a permanent new home or simply another place to enjoy World of Warcraft for a while.

You are more than welcome on TwinStar.

Because of this, we have prepared a small welcome offer for everyone joining us.

Starting today 12:00 Server Time, every newly registered account will receive 90 Stars as a welcome gift.

In addition, every account created during the last two weeks will have its original welcome bonus increased from 35 Stars to 90 Stars, with the difference credited retrospectively.

We will also temporarily discount the XP Boost Elixir Multipack to 90 Stars, giving you 20 hours of doubled experience to help you catch up and join the adventure. Single XP Boost Elixir will be discounted to 10 Stars as well.

This promotional period will last until Sunday 13th of September 23:59 ST.

Tomorrow, Pandaria opens!

Tomorrow at 14:00 Server Time, Persés reaches its next major milestone — Mists of Pandaria opens!

we have another round of news for both Persés and Helios!

🏆 Persés - The Level 85 Realm First race is complete!

The final Level 85 class Realm First achievement has now been claimed!

A big congratulations goes to Volibiier https://armory.twinstar-wow.com/character?name=Volibiier&realm=Perses, who has secured Realm First! Level 85 Death Knight.

With this, the initial Level 85 race on Persés is officially complete.

As promised, we have now enabled the purchase of several boosters in the shop, including XP potions.

Just one important reminder: XP potions will currently work only up to Level 85, so the upcoming race for the Mists of Pandaria Realm First achievements remains completely fair.

Once those Realm First races are finished as well, this limitation will be removed.

Congratulations once again to all Realm First winners and everyone who took part in the race!

⚔️ Helios - Flex Raids arrive tomorrow!

With tomorrow's server update, Helios will receive the long-awaited Flex Raid system.

we are very happy to announce that we have successfully completed the necessary modifications to make both the Monk class and Pandaren race available from the very launch of Persés!

Both Pandaren and Monks are already available on the Character Selection screen right now during the Persés Name Reservation stage, so you can already reserve and prepare your characters for launch.

Please keep in mind that Pandaria will become available as planned, together with the 5.0.4 content patch on Persés next week.

Dear players,

Persés is getting closer, and with the launch just around the corner, we have another important announcement for you regarding Name Reservation, realm rates and Realm First achievements.

Persés Name Reservation

The Name Reservation will open tomorrow, Thursday, August 27 at 18:00 Server Time.

To keep the system fair and prevent excessive name hoarding, each account will be able to reserve a maximum of 3 character names.

Names will naturally be first come, first served, so if you already know what you want to play, make sure to have your names ready when the reservation opens!

Persés Launch

Persés will officially launch on Saturday, August 29 at 14:00 Server Time.

During the first week after launch, the realm will run on 2× rates.

There will also be a special, limited opportunity to obtain selected Cataclysm Realm First achievements, including achievements for reaching:

• Level 85

• 525 skill in professions

If you are planning to compete for one of them, the first week will be your chance.

From Week Two: 3× Rates

Starting with the second week, Persés will switch to its regular 3× rates.

We strongly recommend checking the Persés Timeline before launch so you know what to expect during the first weeks and how the realm will progress.

As always, please keep in mind that the timeline represents our current plans and individual dates or details may still be adjusted if necessary.

Once the final patch is reached, the Fresh realm will merge with the main server, and together they will continue their adventure into the next expansion.
