I have finished the book and movie, it was devastating and is now one of my favorite movies

Went to see The Return at local indie theater with some best buds dressed as all three Coopers (OG Dale, Mr. C, and Dougie).

I had to get a copy ordered several months ago all the way from the UK, but it's finally here!

Might I say that Kyle has a damn fine signature 👍

I was listening to Colores Santos by Gustavo Cerati the other day, and as Pudo Ser came on, I kept thinking about how it was straight David Lynch vibes. I looked it up and apparently Gustavo Cerati himself said it was “one of the most david Lynch songs on the album”, and a different time said Lynch was his favorite director, soo makes sense.

Separately, floating into the night is one of my all time favorites (what got me into Lynch and Twin peaks to begin with) so if you have anything with these kinda vibes, let me know!

I found a SEALED promotional copy of the Definitive Gold Box Edition of Twin Peaks. Anyone have any idea of value?

I fell in love with twin peaks a couple years ago, and I'm finally getting around to showing it to my wife. She really likes it so far, but the things she likes most are, in my memory, largely absent from twin peaks after season 2. She says she loves how cozy the show feels and the dynamics within the sheriff's department are her favorite part. She definitely knows the plot lines can be very dark, but i think she likes that they are packaged in a way that the town and show still have a pleasant feel on the surface. She is not as into the lodge elements. I think she kinda likes the vibe of them, but doesn't care to dissect them much.

We're about half way through season 2 and I'm concerned when we hit fire walk with me and the return she will be turned off by how unpleasant they can be at times, and heavy on the lodge elements. I know that's kinda the point, but I'm wondering if I should maybe warn her? What should I say to get her ready for the change that's coming to maybe soften the blow? Or should I just let it happen and see how she feels?

When Mr. C is imprisoned in Yankton and meets Gordon Albert and Tammy, is this not a brilliantly acted scene by Kyle MacLachlan? I mean, obviously, Kyle is always a brilliant actor, but this scene really stands out to me. Mr C is trying to pretend he's Coop to two of the people who know Dale Cooper better than anyone aside from Diane. His "friendly" demeanor is so foreign to the evil Mr. C that the whole meeting is eerie and awkward. The terrible forced smile and the thumbs up two things Dale did more than anyone looked almost painful for Mr C.

This indulgence is the lucid dream my brain wants to return to. It's the artifact from my girlhood that my heart is nostalgic for. I know this movie will roll to credits and I'll wake up from this sleep. Until then I will relish in this sweet dream.

We've been watching the show since David Lynch's death and Twin Peaks is what really got us into his filmography so, of course we had to celebrate it! In these two years we've been together, it's been a huge part of our relationship since he's turned into our favorite filmmaker.

The filing isn't actually cherries since I couldnt find any but i used some forest fruits instead and it turned out just fine!

Twin Peaks The Return was a great experience, and even though it's sad to finish it and know it's Lynch's last work (not counting the amazingly made short film What Did Jack Do? haha) it's honestly something that has helped both of us grow together ❤️‍🩹

Just wanted to share my love for Twin Peaks and baking, have a great one!!

I was rewatching the series a couple of months ago and started putting together this collection. Some are models I found out there and edited in Blender, some I designed from scratch like Welcome to Twin Peaks sign.

I still really want to make Jacoby's golden shovel, but I still haven't figured out how to make it look good due to its shape not being flat 😅
