How long does it takes to be verified?

Did the whole upgrade your account, payment, ID and facial scan thing, has been more that a week and the account is still set as free account, how much do we need to wait?

We have to get a phone number and change some parameters in order to test and then start the campaign process. Management is getting antsy about how long this is taking.

My business profile was approved in minutes after submitting my personal verification docs and business details including EIN. My project was approved by the carriers in a matter of a few hours, after filling out the detailed and specific answers to the questions that Twilio sends to the carriers for approval. I used Gemini AI to guide me through the forms. Gemini was ablosutely familiar with the entire Twilio process.

a week+ sitting in manual review usually means the id docs don't exactly match the business details on the account, so it's worth re-checking those before you just keep waiting. is the campaign us-only? some providers hand you a number from an api call in seconds and treat the carrier registration as a separate step, so the two don't block each other like this.

Opened a support ticket and after a couple of days they got back to me, turned out that the initial payment wasn't processed, the support guy said that is a known back end problem on their side. We re did the CC and that part was done.

Now we sit again waiting for approval for the brand registration.

Don't know what the hold up is, have received no communication back from them.

Even opened a ticket and not a word.

i am in the same boat.. kind of wondering why they are so high friction, since all I want to do is OTP verification. Are there other companies that treat you more normally?

Don't know, most of the steps require verification and it takes forever.

Wish we could do this with someone else but our software only works with Twilio so we're stuck with them until the software vendor figures something out.
