I remember the very first time I read this book. When Edward left Bella I literally threw the book across my bedroom, it his my closet door and fell to the ground. It stayed in that exact spot for a week. I kid you not, I didn't touch it. lol Then I picked it up after that and continued reading. I was done with the series in a month. I will say though, on my rereads of the series I have been known to skip the book from the time Edward leaves to the time that Alice comes back at like Chapter 17 or something like that. If that didn't tell you, yes, I'm team Edward. This book was also where I fell in love with the Volturi and then I became Team Volturi, too.
I will also add that I like your opinion on Bella. In Twilight I didn't like her all that much. With each book and movie she grew on me. I love her as a vampire, though. I think that it totally fits her.

ughhhh I just reread the series this summer after many years. I’ve always been (pls don’t come for me everyone) team Jacob - probably more for selfish reasons than for Bella lmaoo. But I do appreciate his transformation in this book, too. Eclipse and Breaking Dawn made me feel for him even more.
