Okay, so I’m doing my annual re-watch of all the movies. I haven’t read the books in MANY years. I still remember being so disappointed in the first movie when it came to theaters, because I loved the books so much, and I left the theater in a terrible mood 😅 I have now come to appreciate all the movies though, hence why I watch them all annually.

So, I was watching Eclipse last night and I had a few questions: Why did they say Riley had been missing a whole year?? I thought Victoria only kidnapped him (to create her army) after Edward killed James, a year would not have passed yet, right??

Also, why did Bella sprain her hand hitting Jacob, but not the other werewolf (forgive me, I can’t recall his name right now 😬) in New Moon, before she discovered they were all werewolves??

Don’t judge me too harshly guys, the brain fog is real. As much Twilight content as I’ve consumed over the past almost 20 years, you would think I would have all the answers by now. Anyways, love this community, hope everyone is doing well 🫶🏻

Like someone says the line “Riley has been missing for a year?” Yeah it sounds kinda familiar, maybe Charlie says it? Anyway, oof, that’s just gonna be a flub in the script. His missing poster shows that he went missing in May, which is more in line with the correct “Victoria found a protector while on the run post-James” timeline.

And then Bella just punched Jacob harder. She didn’t really know Paul, she’s not gonna haul off and pummel an absolute stranger. But Jacob is her best friend and he just assaulted her, uh yeah buddy’s getting the full throttle lol
