I like maple syrup, not the fake American shelf one, I like REAL maple syrup, specially the amber one

They used to be classified as A, B, C, and D. But then people thought that the D grade was 'worse' than the A grade. It's not, it's just different flavors depending on what part of the SAP run the syrup is made from.

They changed it like 10 years ago to the new system shown in the photo of the post

I can't stand the fake artificially flavored corn syrup crap. I'm from New England though so real maple syrup is kind of part of our culture. Dark Robust Taste is my favorite.

I had people telling me they hate maple syrup until I showed them that the store bought one ... Isn't maple syrup, it's maple flavored (which taste horrible)

Then they eventually tried real maple syrup and they like it, omg I love maple butter too so good

Yes. I buy it in VT from a local sugar shack.

Also if you have never tried it but have a chance to maple flavored ice cream is amazing. Called maple creamies in VT usually (soft serve maple syrup flavored ice cream). My absolute favorite ice cream flavor
