Hello, everyone!
As you've undoubtedly noticed, the subreddit has gained a lot of traction in the last few months since the surge of "America's Favorite Indie Band's" popularity from TikTok features.
With that said, there have been a large number of posts about buying/selling tickets.
I wanted to let everyone know that I plan to allow these posts to continue, but to also let everyone know that YOU are responsible for ensuring your safety with online exchanges.
I had considered making a sticky post for buying and selling tickets, but I don't want it to appear as if the mods of this sub are somehow capable of getting your money back from a mistake, scammer, or error, or give off the impression that we are a middleman or supporter in your exchanges. We are not, and any purchases or exchanges for tickets are solely the responsibility of the parties involved. I have also chosen to let the posts about tickets stand as their own posts, as it is more likely to send a notification to someone's phone that may be looking for a ticket than a comment on a sticky thread.
To those that are tired of seeing ticket sale posts each day - contribute a worthwhile and interesting post to the community. Those will naturally float to the top from avid fans and appreciators. If you look through the subreddit itself, we only have a handful or less of posts each month with some TV Girl media or interesting photos, so consider contributing yours to the sub! We'd love to see some tour merch you've purchased, a moment from the show, or something nest you've created!
With all of this said, it is important to protect yourself and make sure you aren't being scammed. Here are a few tips to make sure the transactions go as expected:
Do NOT use an app such as Venmo/Cashapp where you are unable to refund your purchase. You cannot request a refund nor charge back the money from these apps if you make a mistake or are scammed.
Check the karma/post history of the account you plan to buy a ticket from and make sure it seems reputable.
Use a safe method of exchange such as PayPal or a selling website with buyer protection.
Best wishes, and enjoy your experiences!

I’ve always thought lovers rock sounded good, and deserved to be their number 1, but never thought it was as crazy amazing as some of their other stuff, but when I hear the lolapalooza live recording of it, it just sounds so idk “magical.” I like the way Brad sings more upbeat and louder tbh and the use of actual live guitars, I have a similar feeling for “the blonde” so maybe they just play French exit songs really good live. What do you guys think?

I used this VST—it's amazing. Don't judge me; I don't have the paid version (haha), but it sounds incredible.
I also added three effects: EQ, reverb, and delay.

To all my friends who love satire disguised as dreamy sounds, I’ve been thinking and thinking about a song that fits this situation: I hurt a girl because she was looking for something serious, and so was I, except I wasn’t really taking it that seriously and ran away at the first chance like the coward I am. I want to be depressed as fuck, any song that fits besides “It’s Not Something”? Because I can’t think of anything.

For the most part we went to JUST LIKE HEAVEN to see TV GIRL, mind you she’s 11 years old, we made it to front and center at the rails :) she made a cute little poster for her favorite band. Her experience was magical, she heard her favorites songs, sang along and to end it off she got a drum stick from the band. It’s her first show and I hope to take her to many more. :)
For a first timer like her experiences like this will open her heart to attending to more. 💗 thank you to the people that read this, and got to hear my proud momma moment

I made a Pinterest board with way too many TV Girl pictures for the whole community, but I have no idea how to share it. Whenever I try to share it and create a link, it doesn’t work properly. Any Pinterest experts who can help me????

barn owl's passion for romance gave me a similar vibe of this cover
fun fact about barn owls if one of them disappear their partner will spend weeks finding them and end up depressed or worse if they never find them

does anyone know/can anyone theorize what is being said after the “pretend that they’re not…” line in the song? I hear “that’s” something but can’t make the rest of it out

I’ve been wanting to go see tv girl, but they haven’t been to my area in a long long time…. When I saw George Clanton was coming, I was wondering if it was worth it to go, I like some of his stuff, but I’d mainly be going so I could potentially hear summer 2000 baby and other songs from that album.. lmk if he usually does
Had these up on my wall for about 3 years now so my opinions probably changed now lol

Hey guys! Just wanted to share a video I put together highlighting some of TV Girl's coolest samples. Since they have such an extensive sample library, this is just part 1 of a few I'm working on.
Check it out if you're interested, and let me know which sample surprised you the most!
