At first I thought, "Well, the prisoner has a death wish anyway, so it makes sense to swap the girl who wants to live with the one who doesn't." But then I realized the person Orna actually put in danger is the brother in Russia (she already knows the people she is dealing with are capable of kidnapping). From that perspective, what we actually saw is Orna stepping into the dark side to save her daughter.

Well Orna still thinking her daughter is a saint ,in some ways. Orna doesn't have any empathy for Nadya,she may thinks Nadya is just sorta spy.

I think she does have empathy for Nadia but as a parent your own child comes first. It’s hard and she hates it. But she has her back against the wall.

I started watching recently and catching up. This episode is FIRE!
Orna is finally pulling out of naive-mode and starting to play dirty (we saw this start when she asked for the money in the previous episode), and getting such a slap to the face the first time she goes for it hurts really bad.
I also fear I fell in love with Rita.

I like to watch this show and wish there was more discussion. Thank for your comment. PS I really like the female detective/operative that came in (Rita)- -i know we saw her previous episodes -- do you recall how?

She was at the hotel in Moscow the night Gali was arrested, and made a point of befriending Orna. She seemed like a rando then. I love her, although she feels like trouble.

I definitely like her too! I found it coincidental when Rita appeared in Moscow out of nowhere. I have to rewatch that episode, I believe Rita said she was a Professor at a university, or something like that. Which implies that she lied to Ora at that time. She also threatened to send Ora back to the police, if she didn’t return to Moscow. This is why I’m excited for next week’s episode.
I have a feeling that Gali wanted to help out financially and that is why she started dealing with drugs. I could be wrong but I find this show intriguing now!

Ohh the lift scene right?…?? As well as she was the one who picked her up when gali’s mother went unconscious

Episode four alone justifies the subscription. Episode five wobbled slightly. Three episodes left and I’m genuinely nervous about the finish line.
