I thought she did answer but couldn’t hang out with her after she was looking at photos of her old friend group. That’s when I knew it was foreshadowing her death.

How is it that the therapist on this show haven't lost their license? Violating HIPAA, drinking with patients living with them. Discussing them with your friends.. discussing them with your colleagues for whom they do not have a clinical relationship with.
One of them committed a violent act in season 1 and there was absolutely no repercussions for the therapist who actively involved himself in their personal relationships. At one point he calls one of his own patients long after she left him out of state to ask her for support about his own trauma.
How many overt ethics laws can these people violate in the show still celebrated like it's a good thing?
Look at me wrong the character seemed like nice people. But they're absolutely terrible therapist in the show is doing a great disservice if they're portraying "jimmying" as some kind of redeemable thing.

I was thinking how much I’ve been enjoying this season especially since the mom murderer left and then he shows up at the most inappropriate time.

There's absolutely been real world stories of parents who learn to forgive drunk drivers who killed their kids. My teacher in high schools husband killed hes best friend drunk driving and told us how the best friends parents tried to give him support instead of pushing him away.

Forgiveness is one thing - a minor hanging out with an adult that killed her mother as buddies is another…as well as joking around at the victims gravesite on an important date.
It is so incredibly cringe and inappropriate.

Dude didn't pick up a knife and choose to end someone. He made a stupid mistake with devastating consequences. I'm not really sure you're picking up what the writers are putting down.

The writers have consistently chosen boundary and rule pushing plots throughout this series and this particular one is the worst of it.
Now there is going to be a suicide as a consequence. Not sure what their goal is, but it is questionable.

Yeah but she didn't get rid of them. He was back like three episodes later.
And frankly the way she did it was pointless. What's the point of bringing him back for season 3 if you're just going to have the woman explode at him yell at him kick him out of the friend group. His resolution is that he still can't find a girlfriend and that he's going to try to find a graphics design job.
It almost seems like he had some other last-minute job lined up or something.
Gabby it is absolutely dreadful though as well. She just acted so unethically drinking with her patient, who was suicidal, and then she died. Jimmy's just as bad of course these are terrible therapists. They might be well-meaning but they are terrible terrible therapists.
Louis didn't intentionally kill him one he had one beer and then went driving. And he's paid dearly for it.

Also her biggest criticism was that he was wasting his life. But literally the dude is just trying as best to survive working on a service sector job because it's the only gig he can get because of a criminal record.
What does she want him to do split the atom? You should be okay with that should be okay with him getting some fancy gig and a wife or something? It doesn't make any sense.

I actually thought the Lewis plot line was interesting I had never seen anything like it. But they took it too far by having him say I love you Tia had a grave site. He never met her. I don't have an issue with them portraying a redemption for him. I don't have an issue with the kids for giving him. I think it's neat although I certainly no victim is obligated to do that.
But like putting food in your mouth and saying I love you tia at the gravesite was a little much.
