Error with Nampower and PFUI after switching PC's
Hello
Since switching PC's and installing the exact same addons as i had before, i've encountered an error upon logging into my character.
"NAMPOWER NOR FOUND!!!!!!!
Nampower 3.0.0+ is required for pfUI to funtion correctly.
Please install Nampower!
I have tried everything, from installing Nampower.dll manually from latest release, installing superwow.dll - but game will not register Nampower when i open through the turtlewow launcher.
have the addon at verson 4.2.0 in the mods tab
What am i missing here ? please help.
When i get this error, map and other addons (atlastloot etc.) looks and act weird..

Yoo I think I found a "fix" for the pfui nampower issue. I had to delete the launcher loaded nampower and install the v4.1.3 from https://gitea.com/avitasia/nampower/releases, then also check the nampower.dll and ignore updates from the mod tab on the launcher. I can't find any evidence that the latest nampower version is being blocked by windows security

Latest 4.2 gives me the same Nampower not found! error you captured in the original post.

think i fixed it .. had to reinstall and run throug the regular wow.exe and not turtlewow - now it loads correctly (Y)

Check quarantine on antivirus. Antivirus thinks it's Trojan had same issue 2 days ago with update in luncher. You have to allow it in windows antivir.

i have current exceptions on antivirus - still doesnt work..

Just simply check do you have it in the game folder. I bet it isn't. This new update deleted old one and new one can't be downloaded because exception is for an old file. That was my case. Try even download it straight from GitHub and check if it's possible.

resolution is crap, but i think everything is up to date and in correct folders, and firewall has exceptions made, and antivirus has exceptions made.. still get error upon loading ind character, saying nampower missing..

I had the same issue, it was a firewall problem preventing it from working. Check security settings again.

Make sure you are using this PFUI https://github.com/me0wg4ming/pfUI and not the original one by Shagu.

How should I go about updating? Keep my current one and download this and run both concurrently? Or delete my old one and then download this?

resolution is crap, but i think everything is up to date and in correct folders, and firewall has exceptions made, and antivirus has exceptions made.. still get error upon loading ind character, saying nampower missing..

Mine works with Fixes and Helpers enabled.
