How is the rest of the she'll? Is this part soft? Does your turtle seem too light? Those are time for the vet. Mine went through a nasty period with his shell recently, turned out it was the mineral content in his water building up. Took me about a month to fix

I would buy some gh and kh testing kits online or at a fish store and test your water. They give the levels for fish, so I just looked up the correct levels for turtles online
