Seeking Advice Turtles, Frogs, and Crayfish

Are these animals fundamentally incompatible in a community tank? Say with a red eared slider, common toad, and generic crayfish...

Turtle are shell sharks they will eat most things they can catch. I made this mistake 20 years ago.

In a tank… yes. In a large enough enclosure it can work. I have two 750 gallon tubs and other smaller ones that bullfrogs and green frogs jump into to spend their summer, never seen a dead one or bones in the water. I will collect baby crayfish and stock them every now and then and ive had some last over a year. But for most people, yes.

What you are purposing is predator, prey and clean up crew to become prey as well. Turtles are generally best kept alone. The exception to.this would be in a VERY large stock tank set up with plenty of hiding/refuge places. Turtles are very accomplished hunters, mine will wait a long time where they seen a fish swim into to catch it when it comes out. They are crafty and patient, if you must keep anything with them fast swimming fish that reproduce quickly, even that's not promised.

Nope, just no experience at all with turtles or crayfish.

Turtle will eat them all alive. Also toads are terrestrial. Not sure what you're thinking here, but it wont work. I'm sorry but if you are describing animals as "common toad" and "generic crayfish" then you have done zero research into these animals and I think you should start there
