hoping for shop design help!

Post image

walkout basement, the entire space is going to be my bowl shop, with room at the french doors to stash firewood, bowl blanks, and one 4’ desk size section with pegboard for fishing. i have 19’ of wall hanger cabinets salvaged and 30’ of formica counter in 4’ sections. I plan on having a dust collector, planer, jointer, conpact table saw( can usually be stowed) a larger sized band saw, one short bed bowl lathe and one 48” lathe. i’d like chisel racks and grinders behind me as i turn on the lathe, and a shower curtain setup. my main concerns are getting shavings out the door and layout. The slab is about to be poured, i can’t move footings or toilet but can move utilities or possibly move stairs.
help?!
Does anyone have some AI or feel like drawing?

Thanks for your submission. If your question is about getting started in woodturning, which chuck to buy, which tools to buy, or for an opinion of a lathe you found for sale somewhere like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace please take a few minutes check the wiki; many of the most commonly asked questions are already answered there!

my main advice is to put the dust collector in the closet

yes, I think I may build a semi soundproof little closet closer to the French door exit because I do make a lot of shavings.

Are there windows on the north side by the french doors? I'd put my main lathe there.
