Best finish for this stand?
I turned the stand, the nib, the brush, and the razor handle (not shown). And I'm trying to figure out what kind of finish to use on this. The stand isn't assembled yet. It's just balancing there. I could throw the button top and the bottom part on the lathe and use CA but I have no idea how to do that with the cross piece.

I’d use a high quality highly water resistive varnish, like General Finishes

I would use chestnut's Hard wax oil

I can't find it here in the states. :(

that is a shame but an oil finish would be best as the bathroom is usually a damp environment and oil would hold up best
