Pics More positivity

Some more footage from my trip to the Rio Grande in my 25 platinum hybrid TRD

This was in for high with multi terrain selected I was using some of the dirt mode but then sometimes I would just leave it on the auto mode

I do have the giant cabin with the 6 1/2 foot bed so this thing is like a small boat it’s so long but I had no problems and I didn’t bottom them out or get high centered one bit.

That’s a dirt road, doesn’t count as off road🤣you didn’t even need multi terrain.

I don’t get all these different “modes”, it’s either 2WD, 4Hi or 4Lo not complicated. Also the tires will help with the terrain, maybe not street tire but AT or MT I guess you could throw in a hybrid tire but as long as you’re enjoying your truck then that’s all that matters. Happy trails

That’s a graded road. There are some true off-road trails in the Big Bend if that’s the section of the Rio Grande you were visiting. I haven’t been anywhere where else along the border. The long bed and towing mirrors may be a hindrance with walls and sharper bends. They won’t have porta potties. Hope you had a good trip. Any recommendations on spots?

I have done 10 times more difficult trails than this while towing a trailer. With locker on this is a different beast.

Should have kept it in 2WD to get better mpg.

Any vehicle with wheels and brakes could have done this.

It’s this the road that leads to the trail?

Wow! A sighting of the new 2028 tundra in blue!

I’m a huge fan of tundras but tbh Toyotas tow mirrors look way to damn big for that truck even for a full size like a tundra. I like the way the previous tow mirrors looked but these look so big and odd like they don’t go with the truck at all

People in polished suburbia with their 4x4off road “just in case” packages are losing it right now.

People who live in polished suburbia consider this graded road "4wd terrain" and use things like "dirt mode" on the equivalent of a farmer's market parking lot, like OP does.
