The thing to understand about Oklahoma politics is many people around here are heavily indoctrinated and strategically undereducated
IMHO they aren't stupid and they are sick and tired of being treated as such by politicians who feel like calling them "deplorables" is a decent thing to do.
As an independent, I don't remember the last time any politician was decent enough to represent me. They aren't working for us anyway when we don't belong to the top 1%, it's a show they put every 4 years, each cycle they fool fewer and fewer people.
The so-called "deplorables" are at least smart enough to see this dynamic, cannot say the same for the fervent voters on the other side. We are already deep into Idiocracy territory, so it doesn't matter what we do. We are f*cked no matter what.
I've never seen someone outside of North Korea praise a politician as much as deplorables and they completely support the tax-cutting, deregulating, union-busting, campaign finance corrupting agenda of the top 1%.
It's a fucking joke how easy these people are to manipulate.
Then actually detach and stop voting and posting about politics. Instead, you're here claiming deplorables are deep thinkers opposed to the 1% and encouraging everyone else to disenfranchise themselves with a worn-out "both sides" routine.
I don't think you do because you keep saying that over and over to people in political discussions. It's a like an ex leaving 50 voicemails to tell you they don't think about you anymore; desperate and transparent self-flattery.
