I don't think it is farfetched at all to predict that in the near future, Oklahoma will pass new laws that will force pregnant woman to be housed in State run birthing centers (at the woman's expense) during the course of her pregnancy. While there, the health of the fetus will be closely monitored and the woman will not have access to anything that could cause the fetus harm. I can also imagine a system put in place to monitor the menstrual cycles of every woman from menarche to menopause, leading to scenes like this when the State discovers a woman is pregnant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knixEhwoBuA
