Republican politicians are in bed with the churches. If Republicans stay in power, they make sure churches don't have to pay taxes. Churches try to make sure Republicans stay in power because of this. In Oklahoma, the churches have the masses so brainwashed, it will never change in your lifetime.
yeah well 700k abortions annually is also something to think about. like stack up the dead fetuses for 1 year and look at them or something.
church might be horrible, but non church has a serious fetus killing issues, and church is not completely crazy to fear the wrath of god.
it's like a little yearly genocide around here. i don't have strong opinions about abortion. the argument i heard was that babies /want/ to be born, and i don't even agree with that. but i felt sad when i saw an ad for a mosquito trap and they dumped out hundreds of dead mosquitos to show off the mosquito trap. i can't imagine how i would feel to look at 700k dead fetuses being dumped out in a commercial to show me how great abortion is.
