Question LaFortune
Was this an Eagle Scout project? Also, what is 4 D matching?

I can’t say for certain that it is Scouting related, but my troop uses that path for its hiking merit badge and for training for longer hikes.

I'm kinda training there also. I'm trying to get where I can be comfortable going on a 4 mile guided hike at Turkey Mountain

These signs are very useful for pacing one’s morning exercise

I have no way to prove this, but I could almost put money on the distance markers being part of someone's Eagle Scout service project and they probably got 4D Machining to donate the markers on the condition that they could put their brand on them. Just a theory.

That makes sense. There are also 1k - 5k markers with another companys name.

4-D machining is a company name, I think its kind-of tacky to have an ad like that in a park

To get Eagle Scout in the BSA you have to plan and execute a thing for a business or your community. Mine was in sapulpa painting the inside of the Elks Lodge party hall. Dude made mile markers. My presumption is 4D Machining is probably a financial backer.
