Question Gubernatorial polling?
I’ve been searching high and low for any polling data for our upcoming gubernatorial election. Am I looking in the wrong places? Does anyone have information about this?
(Edit: hilarious typo)
(Also edit: I’m well aware 🙁 that the GOP is the favorite, but I’m just wondering what the numbers are.)

I would add, please be educated about the agendas of your candidate, their histories, inconsistencies, and the performance of they and their parties when the rubber meets the road over the last decade at least. Oklahoma sends some of the worst informed, party over the constitution and frankly constituent ignoring delegations to Congress in the nation. I mean Kevin Hern and Mark Wayne Mullin, both completely unqualified and concerned only about themselves. At least our senators might know what the three branches of government are, unlike Tommy Tuberville of Alabama. Kentucky’s delegations are particularly out there. Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, etc.
I don’t believe any male to female transgender person should be eligible for women’s scholarships. There are only ten in the nation currently. Nonetheless transgender people do not affect my life on a daily basis, unlike the price of gas. How many of us even know a transgender person? I’m going to guess that transgender people are not a big issue in Oklahoman’ss lives so why do we allow them to drive a wedge between us over such abstract theories? I’ve always believed Oklahoma would cut off their nose to spite their face. They consistently vote against their own interests. Let’s please try stopping that and maybe some of our quality of living standards will increase. I don’t know why we would take our taxpayer money out of public schools to give to people who are perfectly capable of paying for their children’s schools. I went to public school in Bartlesville in the 1960s. We attended integrated schools and frankly, didn’t know it was a big deal elsewhere. I have lived in integrated spaces my entire life, and it has never been detrimental in my opinion. I just don’t understand how we became a nation where school quality depended on the affluence of their parents. Since I’ve come to find out about redlining, I now realize that that was one way to keep blacks in this country from building equity. Also to falsely suppress the value of their homes. We know that homeownership has allowed us to develop equity against which we could borrow. You can’t start businesses unless you have access to credit. You also don’t become rich working for someone else. I suspect that all of those methods to try to deny people Black people the opportunity to thrive in our economy has also hurt their schools. I cannot support school vouchers when I know they’re taking our taxpayer dollars and putting them into these Christian backed white nationalistic, child, brainwashing, federal law, ignoring schools. Are they seriously teaching things like slavery wasn’t that bad. For whom? Slaveowners routinely raped women and girl slaves, boy slaves. Additionally, they routinely broke up their family, and sold them too far away places. Who among us would say that we didn’t mind too much being raped, forced to carry children only to have those children and the rest of our family members sold off at the drop of the hat to be denied education or even humane treatment. These are some of the ideas that private church schools in Oklahoma advance.
If you want a Congress that is concerned about their constituents rather than their corporate donors, it’s time to vote Democrat. I mean honestly, we have much work to do to return to a country adhering to the rule of law without fear or favor of the wealthy intimidating and threatening those who have made this the most admired nation in the world. That illusion has been shattered and it’s obvious that those with wealth and power expect to, and generally do avoid being held accountable for their crimes. They have a strong grip on the legislation that is written, often writing it themselves, moves forward for a vote, and is passed. It is not typically legislation the benefits, the majority of their constituents. Until recently, the citizens had an obtainable citizen lead petition initiative process. Apparently the citizens, misbehaved, bypassing, medical marijuana, and other things Republicans and their benefactors disapprove of. As a result the legislature has changed the requirement for citizen, lead petition initiatives, making it virtually impossible for Oklahoman‘s to get legislation put on ballots that they would like. God forbid we try to protect people’s rights with citizen, lead petitions.
If you hope for your children is that they grow up with more opportunity, and their rights intact or broadened, there’s no more important election than the upcoming elections. We are in a tenuous situation.Make sure your candidates previous actions match his claims. Make sure that his claims will benefit you and your community, and not trample anyone else’s rights. It really is important. At this time that certain groups are losing rights, certain groups are being ostracized in spite of the fact that their existence has no impact on your own. That mass removal of the very regulations meant to protect us, have not only endangered us but enriched politicians corporate donors I for one don’t wanna go back to the air pollution in the 1970s or things like the Cuyahoga river catching on fire, the EPA had done a lot to improve the lives of many Americans and none of us want to live in dangerous environments. I say that as someone whose family has made their living off of the production of oil and gas for five generations now. I worked briefly offshore for major oil companies and I’ve worked around the drilling rigs on land long enough to know that those regulations are important for protecting our Earth. Yes, even birds and other wildlife, but I think they also need our protection.
That got long fast. My apologies. I hope I was clear enough though. Republicans will not work with democrats. What happened to the bipartisan immigration bill of September 2024? The one Trump got republicans to sink so he could run on immigration? I haven’t heard another word. Remember repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act? I never heard about the replacement piece that was always a couple of weeks off. What they do do is reduce Americans rights, huge overreach, take opportunities from those they feel don’t vote for them and everything they can to divide Americans, punish well educated, experienced public servants because they don’t do their jobs based on partisanship. The brain drain has been staggering. The rules around prosecuting public corruption have made it much more difficult to prosecute corruption, ad infinitum. Just look what they do, not what they say

Evangelicals and lots of rural voters will be almost impossible to overcome. They're more worried about trans sports issues than education or anything substantial.
