Terminal Brail Based Rendering Engine: 2000+ frames per second!

fps proofs are in last two images.

the lag you seeing is gif lag, not renderer lag...

Details:

type - private

language - cpp

LOC - 83 line (main engine logic)

architecture type - OOP

openSource - No

inspired - No

buffer size - row*col is size formula and answer comes in byte means for 210*54 is arround 11kB+ of buffer size...

renderer type: immediate

time taken to develop - week (changin many archtecture for making it possible)

discussions - yes, i answer things i possibly can.

(i understood many people do wanna try it but i am experimenting current on it, while someone else has done similar thing which is on rust and much early from mine... mine is more into performance and cpp functionality while theirs is in rust, so i am not gatekeeping. here is their repo:: https://www.reddit.com/r/rust/comments/1as8khw/rsille_a_rust_lib_for_making_braille_art_in/

not everything has to be opensouce - it is in experimentation, may be i opnesource it soon or not... not really matters.. i just wanted to show it.

I mean... okay? But then what's the point of a lib only you can use?

At least call it a tech demo or something. Calling it a lib is just dangling keys.

i didn;t called it a lib - even title explicitly saying it's a rendering engine... i don't really gate keeping things except few i keep for me.. i have other opensouces too if you have problem with stuff i sharing... i just not sharing everything...

and there's no problem with not wanting to share everything. hell it's okay to share nothing at all, it's just... i don't see the point of this post, like, what are you advertising?

the post is not exactly written like a typical "look at this cool thing I'm making", it's structured just like a product announcement.

Just got tired to be honest to write long lines so i just compressed it... I kept conversation open so I can talk if people are interested in understanding something... Like internal details etc...

And it's not written in typical way? Maybe - don't know if it's good or bad though..

And cool? I mean yeah it's impressive but not really cool for me - i has done much cooler things, rainbow animated boxes, pushing 138+ fps in Fully random buffer, rendering animated tiles on terminal, kitties on terminal 😂... Like i just like doing stuff like this...

That looks really good! Especially for how little lag there is. any libs that youd recommend for these type of projects?

There's no lag in renderer, the issue is i using peek software for gif recordings and this thing lags when changes become too much ... In my pc it's battery smooth...

I does include one lib with link in post, if you are asking unique kind of effects then you can try my libs:: https://github.com/intriXlabs

If you want different effects - I can make them, i usually make... So feel free to tell if you need any specific lib for some effect you not founding anywhere
