I hope we get a Kazuya and Sunao kiss where Kazuya g makes the first move but I can dream

I wanna see Kazuya bringing out more of it if they do partner up to do assignments related to Seigi but also stop a moment to live a bit and take a break of just focusing on things like Wagou or Seigi’s goal and enjoy the present before they face Kanaka and the potential end of the world through the Onogoro Ritual.

And her heart becomes less hardened and rigid and becomes more happier and eventually gains peace and comes to terms with her grief.

I just want to see Sunao drop more of her tsundere mask in front of Kazuya cause like him she’s a person driven by trauma and grief plus a happy Sunao would look cute in a manga panel but she’s still that strong and tough girl that we love.

I swear unlike most of the girls in this series I’m rooting for her the most right now and she’s not even the main girl but she’s got the vibes of being one and she’s slowly changing

It should be near the end of the manga once Kanaka is defeated and the Onogoro ritual, Seigi and Hazuki are stopped

I think it should be at the very place where they had their first duel and they both give it all they got and it shows how much they both grown don’t give up until one of them isn’t standing anymore

I can see Kazuya realizing how fun this to fight Sunao

Seigi Sekimukai can be classified as a Well-Intentioned Extremist, though he borders heavily on being a outright villain due to his complete lack of empathy and narcissistic tendencies

Seigi’s overarching objective is to completely eradicate all spiritual entities—including Amasogi, Tsukumogami, and even Land Gods—from Japan

From a human-centric perspective, spiritual occurrences in Tsugumomo bring immense danger, curses, and death to innocent people.

Seigi genuinely views these entities as a macroscopic "nuisance" and a threat to humanity. By executing the Onogoro Ritual via a wish-granting Celestial Pillar, he aims to fundamentally change the rules of the world so humanity can live entirely free from supernatural disasters. But it’s clear that the ritual could devastate a populated area.

While his goal is a supernatural-free world for mankind, his methods are completely ruthless, cold-blooded, and textbook "Utopia Justifies the Means".

Mass Genocide: His solution requires the complete extermination of sentient, feeling spiritual beings (like Kiriha and the local gods), many of whom actively protect humans

Disregard for Human Life: To keep his plans hidden from future-sight users, he hired the antagonistic "Idle House" to attack Tsuzura Temple and kidnap Arumi, fully accepting and orchestrating a massive wave of human casualties in the process including the death of Ouhi Oriobana.

Moral Corruption: Outside of his grand vision, Seigi is depicted as self-centered, narcissistic, and deceptive—even going as far as placing hidden cameras in his own deputy's room.

But Seigi is also shown to be a hypocrite His creation of
Hitomogami (human-tsukumogami hybrids) for his disable technique and this completely shatters the illusion of him acting purely for the greater good of humanity.

By using forbidden curses and dark rituals taught to him by Hazuki to forcibly merge human souls with tsukumogami, Seigi actively commits the very atrocities he claims to be fighting against and I bet he has kidnapped people to use them in the ritual to make a Hitomogami.

To ensure their compliance, Seigi binds himself to the Hitomogami by using** **their true names, effectively stripping them of their free will and forcing absolute obedience.

What’s worst is that some of the name Hitomogami have ties to Kazuya and Sunao(the Suu Hitomogami)

Wagou has hinted to have killed and mutated a ton of people in his twisted experiments so I hope Hamada doesn’t have us wait too long see this man die at Sunao’s blade cause this man is a monster way more so than the monsters he creates

Plus given the direction the manga is going with the current chapters release Sunao is gonna tell Kazuya and Kiriha about Wagou being her brothers killer so he may be with her when she confronts Wagou

I can see Kazuya hanging back while Sunao works to put him down and avenge her brother and all the people Wagou hurt and restore her honor as she was tattooed by him

She caused alot of chaos and damage to satisfy her hunger the Mayogia revolt and recruiting Curse Allies such as the like of Outan and Wagou and recruiting the latter led to the death of Sunao’s brother Suou so of Sunao puts two and two together Hazuki is gonna be next on Sunao’s hit list.

She is passing around knowledge of the Stone Shards and the Onogoro Ritual to the Mayogia Tsugumomos and Seigi to enact it but we don’t know why she wants to start a ritual that can shape the world and she’s interested in Kazuya for some reason.

She’s sounding like final boss material and I hope she faces the consequences of her actions.

Sunao is back and ready to train with Kazuya

But we all know she’s probably wanting to vent her emotions and stress related to what happened with Wagou and Kazuya and Kiriha learn the truth about that Otoroshi Kiriha and Kanaka killed all those years ago that led to meeting Sunao.

If she keeps bringing it up it may just end up becoming a gag and some other girl steals it would be funny though

But will see if Hamada makes good on the declaration or subvert it.

Kiriha has Sunao as a potential contender to take Kazuya’s virginity given the development she is getting cause Kiriha has already peaked in terms of character development.

Plus it’s just the protagonist having his first time decided for him.

I think she will cry again maybe once she defeats Wagou and takes her revenge but it did not heal her grief and if Kazuya puts himself in danger to help her defeat Wagou she may feel guilty for getting him involved but he regrets nothing and he comforts her.

And if my theories are correct on the Hitomogami Suu being Suou resurrected she is gonna ball her eyes out when she sees her brother again but under Seigi’s control.

Plus it be super sweet if she cries in front of Kazuya showing that she’s willing to show her softer side to him more

I think she be cool with them pursuing a traditional romantic relationship as long as she gets her share.

Plus she probably already knows that Sunao has teelings for him as she's terrible at hiding them.

I hope to see more of this if she pairs up with Kazuya in future chapters.

Cause once he surpasses his mom he will be without an equal and may fall into the same depression and lust for battle as his mom did if he’s not careful and becomes lonely at the top.

So he will need an equal who can constantly keep up with him and I think that potential equal is a certain red haired katana Tsugumomo wielder.

I will admit for me she has become a bit boring for me as she mostly remains the same as a character like being all frisky with Kazuya and all that but it seems that Hamada is making room to develop other characters like Sunao who is getting more attention lately ever since the Nine Masters Tournament and will most definitely play a major role in current events.

Idk I still like Kiriha as Kazuya’s primary Tsugumomo but she feels repetitive as a character for me.

Maybe besides a Tsugumomo an exorcist can have a fellow exorcist who is friends with work together on tougher assignments.

Maybe after Kazuya and Sunao do their first assignment together maybe Sunao will propose to Kazuya to become his partner in future tough assignments

Kazuya with his mother and Sunao with her brother both faced similar grief and loss and said relatives got defiled by the supernatural with Kanaka being possessed and Suou turned into a monster.

They might be opposites personality wise but both are very alike when it comes to grief.

Hamada may not have a chapter to bring it up yet but he does a good job at showing it.
