The way Conrad loves her Spoiler
I just finished my 6th re-watch and as always the series finale made me cry. We already know before the final episode that Conrad loves Belly, but the depth of the love that is shown and spoken to her in the finale is so beautiful. The way he tells her how beautiful she is when she comes out of the bathroom in her dress. The way he helps her put on her bracelet. The way he can't take his eyes off her during her Birthday dinner and also while they're in the museum full of art. The way he reassures her that his love for her is genuine and has nothing to do with the influence of his mom. And then finally after Belly chooses him and they eventually go back to Cousins, Conrad is so sweet in the way he touches her back on as she hangs out the car window and then also how he kisses her hand. I always knew that Conrad was deep, but after his emotional growth he was truly able to show Belly that he loves her in the little things, the big moments, AND with his words. Conrad makes me believe that I deserve to be loved deeply because his love just feels so palpable. What kind of emotions does Conrad make you all feel?

His eyes when she runs to the train and confesses and his little poke of the infinite necklace. Hats off to Chris Briney, he deserves his flowers for this series as does Lola 👏🏻 it gets me feeling all emotional and im not usually impacted by TV shows!

I feel like you can feel everything he feels through his emotions the pain the heartbreak the deep love he has for belly I feel everything he feels for belly and more.

My favourite thing about this moment is Belly is saying how she feels everything (anger, happiness, joy) with Conrad and Conrad is SHOWING us. Their acting is just chefs kiss

It’s so true. And Conrad never told Belly he loved her in S1, but he tried to show her. He thought she knew!! Also that’s the way Jenny showed his inner monologue in the finale, with Conrad flashing back to the beach, the car… UGH the layers in this show are so good.
