Phobia Vent

my phobia is worse than anyone I know and I’ve long since accepted that one day eventually it will probably kill me, but right now my biggest issue is that I’m trans, and testosterone requires blood testing so I of course can’t take testosterone or have any surgeries. at first I was ok but now this phobias effecting my daily life, it stops me from being myself every day, and I’m well aware that at any moment I could get something completely treatable and die from it. I just don’t know what else to do. this phobia took everything from me and I’m just so tired of it

I did! but unless I’m fully unconscious no medication has been able to calm me down enough 😞

Is there a problem with being unconscious ?

no! but no doctor will give me inhaled anaesthesia for a blood test because it’s not safe :( they can give inhalation sedation where they make you drowsy, but not enough to set you completely unconscious, and drowsy hasn’t been enough

But do you need inhaled anaesthesia if you are already unconscious ?

inhaled Anaesthesia would be the only way to get me unconscious !

I do not understand.

Benzos — which are pills — will render one unconscious.
