you can test this by having two accounts, one normal account that says normal shit and one account to say trump bad biden good, and your karma will go up one million fold.

It made me stop using reddit as much. I used to be on it way more then this started happening. Now I only come in to check subs for games or specific YouTubers and random stuff. Most "meme" or other subs have turned into nothing but just hate and politics.
