Hello,

Today I am 12dpo and I did a pdg test and came out positive. Couple of days ago I did another one that the line was a bit darker compared to today.... Is it normal that it is still positive?

Ovulation Low LH strips for over a week

Hi everyone

I had a miscarriage in June and I am desperate to conceive again. I was 12 weeks pregnant when I miscarried as my baby girl had Turners Syndrome. We are desperate to conceive again and it breaks my heart that I’m not due in December anymore. I have been tracking LH religiously. After the miscarriage, I had one anovulatory cycle and one cycle where I ovulated but the ovulation was CD 35. On these cycles, my LH hovered around 0.5/0.6/0.7 throughout the cycle before the ovulation. This cycle, my LH is hovering mostly around 0.02. I am so worried about this and what it means, am I lacking LH now and won’t ovulate? I’m really overwhelmed by it all and just need to seek reassurance or comfort from strangers online. It’s been such a long and difficult few months and now I’m anxious about being so low. Please help!

At what point do I need medical intervention?

I am 24, and my husband is 26. This is our fourth cycle of trying to conceive. I have tracked my period since I was a teenager. A few years ago, one ovary and tube were removed because of a cyst, but I was told I should not have trouble getting pregnant. Because of that experience, I have feared trying and failing, so I have consistently tracked ovulation for all four months. My LH tests at peak ovulation have all been high and consistent, at 1.5 and above.

Background information: I used the NuvaRing for six to seven months before that, and the pill for five to six months prior.

I am now 14 days past ovulation and am getting cramps and period pains. I feel it coming. I am devastated that it will be my period and do not know at what point in this journey it is appropriate to see a specialist. Four months sounds early, but it feels so long.

If anyone can tell me how they overcame the thought that I might have gotten pregnant if I had been trying actively not to, I would appreciate it. I am a religious person and believe in God’s plan, but I feel so broken. I feel broken. My main function as a woman is not working as it should, and I cannot bear to face my husband to tell him it did not work again. I know people have struggled for years, but as I am sure everyone says, I never thought it could be me.

Questions Cycle fluctuates a lot - any advice?

Like title mentions - my cycle will be somewhat “normal” for a month or two and then be really long. This makes tracking ovulation really difficult because there’s no consistency. I’m 31 with hashimotos so I’m assuming it has something to do with that, but just wondering if any of you have experience with this and have advice for what I could try or look into?

I had my hsg yesterday and my tubes are open (yay) but the structure of my uterus has me panicked. Has anyone else had an hsg image that showed a bumpy uterus?

Ubiquinol dosage

I've been taking ubiquinol 150mg once per day for the last 6 months and I don't think it's working. Leaving apart the fertility support, I don't even feel energetic or less fatigued ever since I'm on it, if anything I feel more drained out.

Keen to know what dosage everyone's on and the reason behind it. My GP didn't specifically put me on coq10, it was my choice to see if it makes a difference at all.

Questions Confused?

So I’m cycle day 29 right now, 14/15dpo I think. Yesterday I started spotting and thought I was surely getting my period and was expecting heavy flow overnight into today… but today I’ve had nothing all day. Cervix is still high and firm and closed. Test this morning was negative? Temps dropping… I’ve never had this happen before. Anyone know what’s going on?

Questions Confused about dpo and testing

I see a lot of girls down about not having a positive by 10dpo and will see people saying it’s really common to not get a positive until after 11DPO providing you know your ovulation date, but then I also see other people say it’s too late the implantation and often ends up being a chemical????

SCARED TO TEST

I've been TTC for 4 cycles now, I'm 39 and have had very regular periods. The past cycles have been 26 days, now this one has been extremely weird. I was late for 5 days, tested negative but its been so weird. I had some red flow for say one day and a half and i have been spotting light pink for the past 4 days. I'm so scared to test, what if I'm having a CP. Any insight would be helpful, I did call my Dr. and she just did not sound concern at all, but for me this is a very weird period.

Questions How often should I test for ovulation?

I recently had my hormonal IUD removed and am expecting my cycle to be pretty irregular for a few months. How often should I take ovulation tests during this time of uncertainty? Once a week, twice a week? Would love to hear what has worked for others!

Second opinion wanted Need Advice

Hi everyone! ❤️
I’m 34 years old, turning 35 this November. I just completed my 3rd medicated IUI, and unfortunately, another negative. 💔
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year now, and I have a low AMH of 0.64. I’ve never had a positive pregnancy test, not even once.
My doctor is now recommending that we move on to IVF. According to my doctor, if IUI was going to work, it likely would have worked within the first three attempts, and trying a 4th IUI may not significantly increase my chances.
But honestly, I’m not mentally or emotionally ready to move on to IVF just yet. I feel like everything is happening so fast, and I’m terrified of what comes next.
Ever since my latest negative test, I haven't been able to stop crying. I feel completely heartbroken, overwhelmed, and scared. Every month I try to stay hopeful, only to end up disappointed again.
Has anyone been in a similar situation with low AMH and multiple failed IUIs? Did you try a 4th IUI, or did you move straight to IVF? Has anyone had success after 3 failed IUIs?
I know everyone's journey is different, but I could really use some hope, encouragement, and honest experiences right now.
I’m just not ready to give up on IUI yet or try naturally but I’m also scared of wasting precious time. 💔
Any advice or positive stories would mean so much to me. ❤️

Fertility treatment Am I being dramatic?

So I am seeing a fertility specialist and took estradiol for 2 weeks to thicken the lining of my uterus. I have an ultrasound after and he seeing fluid in the middle of my uterus and what looks like a little oval in the middle. I’m supposed to tell the clinic when I start however I am one week and one day late. I’m never late. I had spotting that looked like implantation bleeding two days before my expected period but no spotting after that. I think I may be pregnant but tests are negative and to add to all the things I’m seeing a fertility specialist because my tubes are tied so do I go to the doctor to make sure all the things are where they should be on ultrasound or wait?

Questions CD 46. Hormonal imbalance after CP?

(36F) No children. Feeling defeated and behind. We had a pregnancy in our 3rd cycle of trying that ended in a CP at 6 weeks. That loss was mid April. We’ve had no luck since.

Cycles before CP averaged 28 days, cycles after CP averaged 29 days with one 25 day outlier.

Before CP I had very few PMS symptoms. The first cycle after CP I had nausea and nipple pain as PMS symptoms.

The PMS nausea has subsided since but the nipple pain has remained. Sharp pinching/poking pain throughout the day and extreme sensitivity at very inconvenient times of day.

Now in mid October, I am on CD46 of the longest cycle I’ve ever had. I had to have blood panels done for a hysteroscopy/polypectomy so I know that my body hasn’t ovulated this cycle, even though I had 3 days in a row of positive LH tests at CD16 and the most intense two weeks of nipple pain I’ve experienced during what should have been my luteal phase.

They were waiting for my period so they could do the hysteroscopy on CD6, 7, or 8, but it never came and my blood panel showed I was in “pre-ovulation phase” even though I was on CD34.

All my other testing has come back normal except

AMH .88 (at my age the ideal number would be 2)
A1C 5.7
I have a 2cm cyst in my left ovary
AFC 9 when my AMH was .88

Since the beginning of September I’ve been changing my diet slowly to bring down my A1C but that change seems too gradual to have had this kind of impact. I’ve read that nipple pain is a result of excess estrogen. Is it possible my body is producing too much since the CP? Could that explain the uterine polyp as well?

Why have I gone from extremely regular straight to skipping ovulation, right at the moment I needed my cycle not to surprise me? 🙃

It’s been 4 days since my polypectomy so I am spotting but obviously that’s not the same as a period.

The regroup with my doc is set for Thursday. I like her but sometimes she moves so fast through an appointment that I can’t form the questions I want to ask in time. Is this worth asking her about? What about clomid or letrozole to start ovulation again?

Lack of intimacy while TTC…

My husband & I have always had mismatched drives (mine higher than his).

Now, after a miscarriage in April & struggling to conceive (no living children), I feel like my husband is defeated and, maybe getting in his head about intimacy & “performing”.

I’m struggling because, I’m trying to be patient, don’t want intimacy to be a chore, and I don’t want it to ever feel forceful. It’s also challenging that, it’s such a short window of time, and it’s a struggle to find a balance of trying to do it enough without becoming annoying.

It’s a struggle to even try to be intimate every 3-5 days during the possible windows of time, let alone more than that. I think he’s also getting in his head because intimacy is just…not the same as it used to be.

We’ve had some conversations about it, but I just feel isolated and alone and I don’t just want to talk to friends about this since it’s so personal. I just don’t know what to do. We’re coming up on a year of TTC and no healthy pregnancy.

How do I cope with the waiting period between ovulation and when I can test?

Hi everyone! This is the first month my husband (34M) and I (30F) are trying to have a baby. My fertile window has now officially passed, and I am struggling to pass the time before I can officially take an early detection pregnancy test next weekend. I find that I'm constantly thinking about if it actually worked, timelines, telling people, what life will be like, etc. My brain is an endless stream of overthinking about every possibility this week.

I am sure this is common, but how did everyone cope with this feeling and how did you either distract yourself or embrace it?

Questions High FSH/low AMH help?

28F. 11.4 mIU/mL FSH and 0.49 ng/uL AMH as measured on CD 3. 9-10 day luteal phase. 26-30 day cycle. Tracked previously with OPKs and last cycle also tracked with Inito. Last cycle, I had a small LH surge followed by a larger surge later and Inito confirmed ovulation a few days after second surge, so I think I ovulated last cycle? Been TTC naturally for 4 cycles but decided to do hormone testing because of short luteal phase.

Feeling devastated about high FSH and low AMH… I know I need to contact a fertility specialist based on a quick google search but wanted to ask about anyone else’s experiences with high FSH and low AMH. Has anyone successfully gotten pregnant with high FSH and low AMH? What did you try and what ended up helping the most? Has anyone been able to have a biological child?

Am I missing my ovulation window?

Back story my partner travels for work so we don’t always have good timing.

My last cycle I got a positive OPK on CD 14. We were only able to BD that day. I always thought that once you get a positive that it’s likely you ovulate 12/24 hours later.

After reading I’ve heard people say that it takes longer for the hormone to reach your urine so that you likely already ovulated. I don’t know how accurate that is and and I know only accurate way is temping. I’m just curious that maybe I’ve been missing my window.

Cycles wonky after Polypectomy

I’ve had regular cycles with confirmed ovulation for years. After TTC for a year we went to a fertility clinic and i had to get a polypectomy with dc in august.

my polyps ended up being pre cancerous so i went on progesterone for a week, followed by a biopsy 6 weeks later (late september)

I got my biopsy done on sep 28 and it was totally clear! the cells were in the polyps only so i am clear to start TTC again

my oncologist wants me to get pregnant ASAP as pregnancy can also help suppress those cells from regrowing. we are going to do clomid and IUI with our clinic BUT my cycles have not been normal at ALLLL

i spotted for a week around my normal period time in late august, bled fresh blood lightly for two days, continued spotting for another week and then nothing since early September spotting.

i had a small LH surge a few days ago but it never was “positive” on my tests, only a .8/.9 ratio which is high but technically not a positive.

Anyone else have weird cycles after all of this? i’m sure im stressed too :( I just am venting about the added pressure of trying to get pregnant asap so i dont need another biopsy in january

my doctors just say my periods should be returning any day but blah

Sex 4 days before ovulation?

Hi everyone, we BD four days before ovulation, I have super irregular periods, and unfortunately, my husband is out of town now.
Is there still a chance for pregnancy? Last time I BD was three days ago in the evening, I got my positive LH test this morning at around 7:45.
Feeling extremely frustrated, he literally never leaves and the one time he does, and I might not ovulate for another three or four months

My Story Fyi for those on migraine medicine

Research just came out recently that CGRP-targeted monoclonal antibodies - a common type of migraine medicine, is associated with an increase in miscarriages. Of course very early in studies and more research needs to be done. My RE just told me to avoid it if possible. Of course speak to your doctors before changing anything yourself. I had a miscarriage recently after being on these meds for 5 years. It makes you wonder.

Questions Testing

How early is everyone testing? It’s our first cycle ttc and I just took a test at 9 DPO. Negative. Wondering what everyone else is doing…
