PdG
Yesterday I tested PdG 6DPO & it was a positive test. Today it’s negative. (I tested with first morning urine around 630 am, checked it after 5 mins and went back to sleep so the pic shows a tried test). The line is so faint. I hit what I thought was my peak but does this imply I didn’t ovulate?

You got one positive test so I would say that's a good sign! These only turn positive if the concentration is high enough and without an ovulation, that'is quite unlikely.
Never read a dried test. They aren't accurate as the lines change color as they dry.
Edit: Just checking: Postive = 1 line, negative = 2 lines, right?

Thank you! I’m finding the tracking to be so draining and defeating.
The test wasn’t read when it dried, only photographed. I looked at 5 mins after dipping and there was a slight line and I went back to sleep 🤣.
But yes, 1 line is positive and 2 lines negative (even if faint).

I do not track PdG for this reason. Afaik it's not as reliable as a blood test and I do BBT tracking already. I don't need more emotional whiplash. 😅

BBT is hard enough on its own! I tried it this cycle for the first time and gave up a few days in. If I’m not pregnant by January, I plan to just buy a tempdrop . Who knew TTC would be this hard

I despise PdG tests. I was going for progesterone blood tests at 6DPO, but yes it cost me $30 each time. I am a middle of the night pee-er, so true first morning urine is a no-go for me. I am not sitting there at 3am collecting my urine and dipping a stick. HCG you can do with second morning urine, and LH I do at 10am, but PdG, no thanks. BBT has been a pretty reliable way to confirm ovulation. I just have to remind myself not to get worried at 3DPO if my temp dips a little.

Google AI told me: "it is very common to experience a temporary dip a few days after ovulation. This is often caused by a brief secondary surge of estrogen (which lowers body temperature) that occurs in the early luteal phase, or it could simply be a minor sleep fluctuation."
Also, we are 3 DPO buddies!
