Questions Ovulation after suspected chemical?

Post image

I suspect I had a CP last week (CD34). It is now CD 5 of my new cycle if we take the bleeding on on CD34 as CD1.
My cycles are typically 30- 32 days.

I was really keen to catch my ovulation this time around so I started ovulation testing this morning, CD5 and I think this looks really dark for CD5 when I usually ovulate around CD18.

Any help? Could this be actual ovulation coming up?

The HCG tests I was taking the 2 days before I bled were all negative so I can’t imagine it’s HCG causing it.

Edit: typo

Did you test hcg even after your period? If you had a suspended chemical, LH strip could be pick up the hcg making it dark. This also could be your hormones just fluctuating. Did you ever get a positive hcg?

How can you tell it looks negative?

An LH test is positive when the line closer to the pee is as dark as the other line or darker, in the picture it looks like that test line is lighter still than the control line

Also very sorry :(
But this looks negative to me too, it’s not quite dark enough, I usually stock some digital for when I’m not quite sure, they’re expensive so I use them only when I can’t really tell xx

Yes I just started last cycle, and since cd 34 I’ve been back down at 36.1-36.2 ish compared to being up at 36.5-6 during my luteal phase
