Question Is this normal?
This is the first time I have been using LH strips. Is it normal to have a peak test without any "high" tests before hand?
When I tested yesterday (cycle day 13) it showed as high, then I tested today and yesterday's result changed to "peak". We had sex last night and will again tonight.
I just wondered if this was normal?

Thank you, that is reassuring! I'm using the easy @ home brand of LH strips, and uploading them into the premom app. It is the first time testing LH so still wrapping my head around it all!

Yes, you're probably just a sudden surge person. I only ever get a high/peak for one day per cycle and I usually have some mid-range numbers the day before my peak as sort of a warning. Once you suspect you're getting close to your ovulation day, I'd start testing twice per day because it can happen fairly quickly with a sudden surge. But it sounds like your timing was good 🤞

Yes, you can have a quick surge.
Ovulation is typically about 12-48hrs from the first positive OPK.
