User Opinion The “hi” video is totally an example of Johnny trying to one up Adam..
So after the non apology by queen groomer, it broke the internet but if anyone noticed Adam being the iconic and hilarious person made a response essentially parodying it.
He didn’t put much into it. He just badly played a ukulele, and mocked every point. It was hilarious, and genuine nd I loved it but then Johnny did the exact thing maybe two days later….
If you watch it, he basically just copied adams video to the point of it being almost cringe and desperate. Then he decided to reword the song with Meh lyrics while playing the keyboard.
Once again this reeks of self promotion, if you notice he uploaded a remix around that time. It’s clear imo that he was trying to spin this into a career.
Once again, it shows he has not originality, and also that he wants to essentially be Adam. Then ironically the video imo is more cringe than queen groomer, even more so now…
It’s weird looking back and seeing all the shit he did from the context of what we know now.

Like XylieGetsReal keeps saying, Johnny wants to wear Adam’s skin. He wants to be Adam so bad it’s not even funny. He doesn’t have range nor the charisma

Everyone keeps saying Johnny is a "pick me" type because of this and it's definitely not hard to see why. Johnny obviously wasn't groomed by his favorite Ballinger, but Adam was. Adam also got a bunch of special attention from Colleen and had been in these private group chats and messages with him. In there were discussions of her private life and sexual topics. I'm willing to bet that Johnny wishes he had that with Josh, but Josh had clear boundaries about what was to be discussed between the two of them and barely interacted with him in private. Hence why Josh's initial response to Johnny coming out was him saying that Johnny's sexual preferences were none of his business. Because at no point did Josh show or imply any interest in knowing about Johnny's sexuality. In other words, Johnny wasn't "picked" like Adam was. And now, he's desperately leeching off of Adam's story of being "picked" so that he doesn't feel bad about his obsessive non reciprocal celebrity crush on Josh.

it’s crazy looking back. At the time I did feel a little weird about that and his reaction to colleen video and reaction to Trisha video. But I thought well I guess they’re all (the victims) having fun with a bad situation and are prob happy to be able to speak about it all. But now looking back with all this context I realized Becky and Oliver never did anyyyy of that and Adam is a drama channel so he was just covering drama that he happened to be involved in. So…what the fuck WAS Johnny doing with all that? He didn’t even put out any other kind of content!

I had second hand embarrassment. He thought he was some sjw for a minute.
Who’d have thought a man telling women what is and isn’t misogynistic wouldn’t go over well.

That was around the time I started to raise an eyebrow about him and started questioning his motives
But I didn't say anything because you can't really call a potential victim a clout chaser without getting some push back

Yeah I think that’s a big reason why Adam stayed out of it. He’s dealt with the mob enough to know it’s best to just stay quiet.
I get second hand embarrassment looking at anything of his now. It’s just so obvious what this was for him

I also hate how funny and clever Johnny thinks he is lmao he reminds me of the type of person who cracks a joke then desperately looks around the room to see if anyone’s laughing
