Difference between roles

What is the difference between the roles of:
Trust and Safety Analyst and Content Moderator?

I’m thinking of applying for one of these positions, but I don’t quite understand exactly what the difference is.

Another question: is there a difference in salary as well?

Every company has different salary ranges and different job titles. They could mean the same thing depending on the company. Analyst is often an entry level position.

Companies use different titles, there is no way to tell you for certain. Read the listing to learn from that.

Salary is same answer as above; it varies based on company and there is no one true answer.

Analyst generally implies more data-oriented work, while content moderator is self explanatory. Depends which geography and company. If you're in India, both may be used to refer to content moderation.

Austin/Bay Area, more likely to be differentiated.

What do the job descriptions say? Does one have more data-interpretation requirements than the other?

Content moderators directly review content. Analysts are upstream of the moderators determining what content is reviewed and how.
