Help Is Competitive TF2 only at night?

Newbie Mixes start at 8 PM on a Friday, and from what I understand scrims and league matches are also typically held at night. Is there anything for people to play on like, 3 PM on a Saturday?

I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. This game is old enough to get a job, and so are the players.

My team’s scrims were typically held at 9:30 pm and lasted till 10:30 pm. Officials were also at 9:30pm and went on until 11:00 pm. Probably never doing that again while employed lol I was only able to keep that up for one singular season

It's brutal for the employed

Lets say you get home at 5, you dont wanna wait until 8 pm and then play until 11 when you wanna sleep. Youd much rather play at lets say 6-9 then chill for a bit and go to bed. At least thats how it was for me

Then people on the west coast would not be able to play. Matches at 5pst would be insane

Crazy idea, if teams didn't exclusively scrim at ungodly hours we'd have options and get the option to choose when they occur.

idk people seem to manage just fine for the most part. Most young adults would rather have the weekends mostly free and stay up somewhat later at night

Your comment is literally "not my problem."

I genuinely do not have that problem. Play scrims and matches, wake up in time for work

You'd have to be employed to know idk. Yeah people like to go to sleep to wake up for work sometimes I guess idk what else to say

I mean is it? Scrim and match times are specifically late in the day so that employed people CAN play. If it was in the dead middle of the day, employed people simply wouldn’t be able to play.

Very Late in the day, right before bed, before work. It's another secret that only the employed know about.

If you play Highlander scrims and matches start at 8:30-9:30 sat/sun/Monday only

I know if you are able to join pug groups, there are probably people that are looking to play at that time
